you can understand how the actions of a fair few HTFC fans towards our club and our great leader deemed them to be not the favourite club of choice for non town supporting fartown fans the animosity shown towards us and to ken davy was apalling so you cant really blame some giants fans for taking delight in town bottling promotion again.
for me personally,i have no problem with town,i would have congratulated them had they won but you cant expect people who have no interest in football or support other teams to suddenly feel gutted for them.
by the way joey, where is this place that town belong because apart from a few years at championship/2nd tier i've only ever known town in the bottom 2 divisions of English football.

Now that Davy's not involved at Town (at least he won't be once the ground share rubbish is sorted out) I can't understand why the animosity has to continue. I'm not a giants fan but got sick of listening to some of the stuff from town fans at the time. A lot of it ignoring the obvious facts. But it seems that works both ways reading some of the stuff on here. Live and let live I say you no ones forcing anyone to support one or the other.

On another note can't you lot stay at the Shay you've made a right mess of our pitch...

I am no soccer fan at all, and it does not matter to me who get`s what or wins whatever. But I do have a problem with Town supporters. The aggression shown towards Ken Davy when he bailed Town out, and towards Giant`s supporters at that time.
That is why I have no sympathy for Town.

a lot on here are against town fans the way they say we ruin the pitch.must admit rugby players stand in the of the pitch or the goal mouth all game and wear the pitch out.i think not.
they turned against Ken Davy who saved them.myself and many others marched from the old Fartown ground too the galpharm in protest of the merger.when we got there Ken Davy walked towards us chanting Fartown.not one of us turned against him,spat at him,swore at him or sent death threats.
I have been spat on,abused,pushed and shoved allsorts for wearing a claret and gold shirt.i had a choice sunday whatch town or count the grains of salt in the salt pot,have a guess.
my post was at town fans not the club and stand by it.

i didn't notice much anomosity from fartown fans towards town until all that disgusting stuff about ken davy in particular came about from a section of the town support.every single thing that went wrong seemed to be our fault because ken davy was taking money out of their pockets etc.
if thats how they treat a bloke who saved their bacon then they deserve everything they get (those supporters i mean not HTFC in general)
