Everyone has an opinion, here's mine.

Hodgson is a fantastic finisher and a very very good winger, in my days wingers were there to score tries not do 30 tackles a game.

McGilvery is superb, strong, fast and the future of the club, will become a top class winger.

Bruno, big and strong and as rightly said scored a great try against Saints, again future of our club but want to see him kick on, his size should mean he is unplayable in the centres, ala Matt Gidley

Not having a go at any of the above just feel we now need to be top class players in every position.

hodgson is awful under the high ball and messes up quite often..... most of the time hes on the deck and the opposition are already over the try line

end of the day,some people just cant support our players beyond their own personal feelings, each to their own like, but pretty sad IMO

I am absolutely fed up with and disgusted with the posters who continually slag David Hodgson.

McGilvary is a very good player, he is an outstanding prospect. But, to agree with Wadski almost, and to even things up, Jerry has dropped as many high balls this season as DH. 2.

This thread, and any future ones slagging our own players, ought to be dumped in the garbage bin.

To talk bad about our last seasons top try scorer (don't matter how he scored) is awful, people only seem to remember the bad things with this guy. I like him and I blame the centre paired up with him!

I agree with your sentiments about slagging off our own players, and I'm not with them on this one about DH who I think is a great finisher, however the forum is about debate and opinions ATEOTD.

They have their views, I don't agree with them but they should be able to air them.

ignoring his supposed weak defence,that is a record not to be sniffed at in anyone's eyes,and how many of those tries have got us points to help put us in the position we find ourselves in now?

The rest of his game IS good, that's the whole point.

It has been stated before but last season, which is the most recent full season we can go on, he made the most metres of all our players. His stats stand up above all the criticism, he gives his best and he is our player but for some reason people need to have hate figures and feel that they know better than our coach who virtually any club in the league would gladly welcome in their ranks. Everyone can voice an opinion but not everyone can back their opinion up.
