Reading the thread on the Wire site, reveals that the poster is fishing, although one or two of the Wire fans don't think too highly of the tactics.

Most of the Salford fans seem to be backing you guys. The ones that aren't seem to be backing wire because of the way in which Robinson left us. Hodgson on the other hand has nothing but respect from us and I for one would love to see him get a bit of success.

That certain fan is a bit of an idiot.

As a Hull fan I used to think like many that your style of rugby was thugish but since you got your new coach you are the most organised and well structered team in the league.

You play as a team with passion and a winning mentality, for me a winner for the cup and grand finalists.

As a HKR fan I am down on record as supporting the Giants (Yorkshire side, if both from Yorks the nearest to home & that includes FC) to be fair a lot of our lot are going for the wire as they knocked us out. I really don't get all these hateful comments from anti-Wire or anti-Giants fans. I really don't know who I want to win.

I would like Wire for them being a Lancs club, but I'd like the Giants because of our ex-player Danny Sculthorpe.

The Giants and Wire have both come so far this season and both are well deserving their day in the sun, let's not spoil it with petty name calling.

No problem at all Gill. You have no idea how proud it felt to be a Giants fan travelling the motorway to Twickenham 3 years ago with coaches passing, displaying signs in the rear window stating :-

"Bradford Bulls supporting the Giants" and

"Leeds Rhinos for life, Giants for a day".

Difficult to put into words the feeling this gives you. I would be honoured to have this support again. This board probably causes most of the bad feelings between clubs fans. Even some Wakey fans admit it's fans on this board that make them want Wire to win. 3 years ago HKR fans were sat behind me chanting YORKSHIRE YORKSHIRE.
