But Ref's shouldn't affect how well we play !! ...a refs decision doesn't make us drop the ball or miss the tackles, the players do - if a ref gives a wrong penalty against us the players dont think right i'll drop the ball next time cos of that !!.

No but it does lead to them being confused over what they can and can't do, it makes them hesitate in their defence and in attack they might think "hang on, didn't I just get penalised for doing that" instead of thinking what the next play is

Yup goto say refs have even been inconsistent on the actual game day! Starting pinging things they were letting go first half and vica versa!
And how many times has a big call been wrong then the next min the ref gives the team wrongly done by some cheap pens.
And.....how about the balancing of pens! A team gets hammered by the ref for 60 mins with say 9 pens to 1 the game is gone on the score board then they get 5 pens to balance it up! We have seen this at the giants a fair few times! However even with the ref against us we seem to stand tall!

Yeah the reffing in the Leeds game was shockingly in favour of them - then again when isn't it.

McGuire should have walked for his hit on Crabtree, especially in the context of recent red cards.

But we know all ref's are capable of making wrong calls that can affect the game but the way we as fans make a big deal about who the ref is in the days leading up to the game is silly, it makes no difference if we have Child, Hicks, Bentham, whoever - they shouldn't be a talking point before a game.

Been for both days and hardly saw a Bradford fan all weekend, seriously saw about 10 maximum. Thought we were suppose to have poor support, saw plenty of Giants fans, decent support.

First day was plenty of fans from all clubs, day 1 understandably fans form the clubs playing, with alot of Leeds fans both days, followed by Wigan.

Plenty of Hull/HullKR about day 2.

Didn't see the normal numbers from Bulls we had a good few about day1 and lots of Giants day 2

as baloo says, it was workmanlike, we went through them more than round them but however we did it we blew them away,was talking to a wigan fan and he was very impressed with us,he of course was expecting us to choke again but said that we look the real deal this year and was slightly worried about losing top spot to us



I thought ta'ai had another stormer yesterday and all those saying he was a waste of a squad place and we should send him back after 3/4 game must be feeling very very silly now. brough,lunt,ferres,leroy and murph again, as usual were top performers.
would have loved for koppy to have scored just to rub their noses in it even more.

most bulls fans were in the corner of the colin bell stand, not as many as usual I agree but they don't win things anymore.
lots of wigan everywhere and leeds but you'd expect that.also very surprised at widnes' turnout, very impressive.
I thought we had about 1000 all in all which is good by our poor standards.

We weren't brilliant but did enough at the level we played to beat a very poor Bradford side who looked disinterested - a shadow of the side that trounced us earlier. We were efficient in what we did without been in top gear or playing to full intensity.

Ukuma and Brett were monstrous for us yesterday ..in fact all the forwards were which made the backs look relatively quiet.....good team performance but because of the poor standard of opposition i'm not reading too much into it.

great result against the team i detest!

brough had a great game and sammut had a shocker so only going to be one result and we saw it



taai was my man of the match till going off (hope hes not injured) he was awesome and like meast says those that said send him back are looking very silly now

Says everything about the game and why it was one sided. Some individual Bulls palyers have some awful stats thought it must be noted Jacob Fairbank did not miss any tackles.

thats what fairbank is a workhorse in defence and tackling machine, offers little in attack im afraid which is prop why we didnt even notice him yesterday!

Well I called it......not even going to try and defend that, I thought we'd get hammered but at least play ok. Walker, Foster, Olbison didn't tackle all game. Kear, Fairbank and probably Addy were our only decent players but even so Addy missed a bucket load. Not interested today at all and Giants made us pay. Huddersfield didn't get out of 2nd gear and some of your tries were so simple and our defence was so poor people actually stopped passing and just tried to run over Foster as he didn't make a tackle.

IMO Jamie foster is awful! Could never tackle! His kicking for goal is the only good thing! Apart from that he's a liability! But that's my opinion.

Could have been a decent player but seems more bothered with how his hair looks and if he's moisturised properly....think he wanted to be a Barclaaaaaays Premier League footballer but lost his way
