Good effort from the players but we got beaten in the pack and it just seemed to drain us.

Agree we seemed to lose some shape on attack with Ellis in there.

Hinch was outstanding,really put a great shift in.In fact I was waiting for PA to reintroduce him just as they scored the 3rd try.If we could have held on then, and got Hinch back on the field I think there was a good chance of a win.

Also outstanding,Lawrence,Roberts,Rapira & Johnson. Shame no Eorl,might have been the difference between the close loss or a close win.

Easier to go into a new season without a recognised winger cos if youre saying we couldnt guarantee him some regular game time thats what we did

Mr Anderson could have played Murphy at Fullback, But fair enough we don't play the style of Football to make the best of a flier on the wing. All too late now anyway as some have said.

I could live with Murphy at full back and Wardle back at centre when the new man gets here, The thing is what to do with Ellis, ( LF for me ) I don't think Breirley is doing anything wrong, he just seems a bit wasted for me, he has built his rep on attacking and scoring, shouldn't we be making use of that, Just a opinion of course but I think he needs to be more where the action is.

Just watched the game, very niggly. Lots of tackles continuing after ref calls held, players pushed over to stop quick play. Very frustrating to watch. How the hell was that not a knock on in the last minute by the cats player!? He dropped it went past it turned and the ball bounced forward into his arms. Pure lottery at times.
