All in all he's been the model pro, he's been a very good, consistant performer who always played with his heart on his sleeve, never took a backward step, took everything the opposition could throw at him, always got up, dusted himself down and then came back for more, a proper little terrier. He has been a great servant to the club in his time here and has been a key part in the clubs revival. Hopefully he'll get the Grand Final appearance/victory he fully deserves with us before moving on.

but Ashton Sims signing for Wire, in my humble opinion, that is exactly the type of signing that we need! Big and aggressive, would really compliment the talent we have and would give us a bit more authority in the big games. I really want us to sign a new, uncrocked version of LOD, I thought Kafusi was the answer but he hasn't been given a chance in my opinion.... maybe there is something more to it than meets the eye.

Maybe he just isn't good enough and thats all thete is to it. if you read the London board you would see how much they would slate him for the effort he put in and that appears to have carried on somewhat. He's an aggressive player in pockets but nothing more. You do have to wonder what motivates a player sometimes, because something did with him once, where did it go? Where ever it went it went before he came to us.

We are recruiting some top class young prop forwards atm given todays announcement. I am happy not to sign Ashton Simms. We have some good props here with a range of talents/qualities and a coach who was a top prop himself. I think with the likes of Crabbers as the old guard, Koppy who is mid-term and had a blip (which IMO was effort related but rectified) and then Larne, not to mention Kaufusi who has so far had a slow start and then Josh Johnson who has shown really well with guts, strength and enthusiasm we have the full range up front and a great environment for a prop frward to develop.

If Boyle is coming then we will only be accentuating that.

You only need to look at the metres made yesterday and the breaks through the middle to see the forwards are flagging. Two things stuck out for me yesterday. 1. Salford were on the break, were brought down and got a quick play the ball. Kopczak didn't move his feet whilst a player ran right past him and put the ball down between the sticks. 2. Salford on the break, were brought down and Eorl turned his back to jog slowly back to the defensive line whilst Salford got another quick ptb.
Effort in Line speed -THATs what is letting us down.
