Broughton has signed a 4 year deal with us

He is due to finish his degree at the university of Salford sometime around now

He has a part time job at Wates Construction in Doncaster

He is from Leeds so Moving to Huddersfield/Leeds or a surrounding area will be nearer his new club and his part time job, makes a lot of sense to me

Can't wait to see him in a Giants shirt

Can see Luke George ending up at Hull KR, Castleford or maybe even back at Wakefield

seems to be looking at his future after rugby league too, not many super league players have a part time job too!

we tried to offload george earlier in the season to saints i think to try get gaskell too.

I agree about Anderson getting his team. The core nucleus was there minus a number 7 which he did try to acquire. But he got ferres, Koppy, Taai, fielden, molally, set Murphy to wing, got lunt back and ensured he was happy and changed the systems we play......first year in charge and what a start! He has done so much rite and undoubtedly have another off season to add to and tweek the squad.

Assume Bailey, and Broughton In they will both be on good money especially Bailey, so who,s going?, If big money is coming in then big money has to go, either a star player, or a number of squad players, for Broughton, George, Dawson, Blackmore, 1,2,all 3 ?, l would not want to loose Murphy,
For Bailey, Fergy, Fiaimu, Fairbank,Grix, Robbo even, especially if Dwyer is also in the frame.

Dwyer is not in the frame. He still has more than 2 years at Wire. Baloo was quite adamant about that.

If we really were up to the cap then we wouldn't have been looking for a half back. Our biggest wage by far was taken off the cap when LOD left and his space hasn't been taken up. Also can't see bailey getting on that much- i doubt he would get a look in down under so a last hurrah with us is more than the nothing he'd get elsewhere. As for broughton he is a quantity surveyor and works for a large company (my other half has dealings with them in his job and they are "a good firm"icon_wink.gif - the money may not be the only consideration, travelling time may play a very large part- as could the willingness of his new club to be slightly flexible in certain respects to allow him to continue as a QS.

He played well today in a team that was shocking. He reminds me of a young Ryan Atkins. You can see he's got pace and he's bulking up in strength. He will be a good addition to any team.

If Dawson has been sold the gig at Saints then good luck to him, he will be in a great position to replace Meli or Gardner for 2015.

seems to have put alot of size on now and runs the ball strongly, he is behind murphy and mcgillvary though here and if we have signed broughton then it makes sense to move on.

not really had a good run of games with us just come in for the odd game but not let anyone down
