| Quote ="Hangerman2"Macintosh had a mare today, but he looked absolutely knackered, and clearly everything he did was affected by fatigue. Guess that's easter when you got a thin squad and most of them are injured. I personally would play rankin at full back seen as he sure as hell aint a halfback, mamo and jerry on wings , Macintosh im not really sure , cover at the moment i would say but he's got the potential to be good enough.
'"
Just as a matter of interest, Why would Macintosh be so knackered and fatigued.

| I've personally seen enough from Macintosh to think he can hold his own in super league. He's not the finished article, but I hope he gets a decent run in the team.
I also want to see simpson keep his place. Very impressed with him vs Leeds.
Catalans was tough, the ref really let them slow it down and they were flying up and basically on the giants players before they had the ball. Always going to be tough for the wingers trying to make yardage.

Was there anything stopping the Giants from flying up and getting on them at the same time as the ball, just asking.

| Quote ="Hangerman2"He does look to be carrying bad weight. Looks far more creative than Rankin though. Rankin really is very poor at half back, and when combined with an ageing Brough it's no wonder we have zero creativity on the pitch. It is a rather large hole we are in now. We do have some good players but noone has the vision to use them.'"
spot on
zero creativity
at least turner can pass out to his centres, thing is we had lawrence at centre after the injury to mellor and he seemed to have forgotten he used to be a centre and how to put a winger in.... oh to have cudjoe back at centre...

Mamo is a good player but because of his injuries has been poor value for money. If an NRL side were interested in him I'd let him go and use the money to to bring in a quality half back.'"
maybe poor value but he saved our season last year
poor value is more like smith and symonds

It’s interesting, thinking about Cudjoe and McIntosh
Way back, when he first started coming through, Cudjoe was talked about as a full back - he made his first team debut there. That worked out in the end but not as a 1.
McIntosh clearly has talent. But I really doubt he’ll make a full back in the long run.

| love to see mcintosh on the ball and running into the line but he certainly has a lot to learn still which is understandable being young... may well be our future full back... has cost us a few tries though in the last two games but so has mamo, full back is a hard position to play. for me mamo is still our number 1 full back, hope to see him back soon and playing on harder ground in the summer.
dont think we have a solution to the half backs!
the one player who people seem to be missing out and who has been great in both his games is jared simpson!! who knows where he could have been by now if he hadnt had such torried injuries..always had so much potential

true, cudjoe was dead set on wanting to a be our full back just like mcintosh has been saying but nathan brown turned cudjoe into an international class centre. maybe mcintosh future does lay at centre

| For me Simpson has been the more assured of the kids and I wouldn't mind seeing him have a crack at full back with darnell on the wing. Can't recall an error from Simpson.
Darnell will be a good player in a couple of years but he does one good thing, gets cocky and makes 2 mistakes, he'll learn but he just needs to learn quickly!
