| 2/1. Might be worth a few quid after our last 3 showings and Wigans inability to get points in the league. 1 point against dreadful Wire in the last 7 league games.
Home advantage and an extra days rest.
Most of Wigan's injuried players all came back last week which to me suggests Wane got desperate and maybe one or two of them might not be as ready as we are lead to believe.
However Wigan is Wigan.. will be tough!

It's not Wakey you should be worrying about Arnie it's Wigan on Friday, personally with all their injuries you might probably be just a bit two much for them.

| If we don't win the forward battle I don't see us winning this.
Wigan have only 2 props on Friday night and we are going to have to take advantage of that.
I would play Ukuma at prop personally to replace Rapira.
1. McIntosh
2. Jerry
3. Leroy
4. Gaskell
5. Murphy
6. Brough
7. Ridyard
8. Seb or Taai
9. Leeming
10. Wakeman
11. Ferguson
12. Mellor
13. Hinchliffe
14. Taai or Seb
15. Roberts
16. Mason
17. Clough
I would let Kruise play the first 40 mins.
Hinchliffe to hooker for first 20 mins of 2nd half and let Clough go to loose forward for that time.
Taai to prop for me to try keep the momentum of Seb going. I may be even tempted to let Ukuma start and let Seb rip in the last 20 mins of the first half.
Tautai has been Wigans best prop in recent weeks so will be a big loss to them.

murphy
leeming
brough
ridyard
ikahihifo
wakeman
Ferguson
Roberts
Hinchy (got to keep him at loose)

roberts
Taai
clough
Dickinson

| Given Wigans supposed lack of forward options it makes sense for us to load our bench with forwards, although I'd rather have Murphy at centre over Mellor given how mobile Wigan are with their shift plays. Also, Roberts in the team twice there

| mcintosh has gained experience at full back early this season, this is when those games will benefit him and the team
gaskell stays at centre for me , was doing ok last week with murphy..
think it will stay like this till we get mamo and turner back.... but dont forget rankin will be here soon so i think he will go to full back then instead of mcintosh.
playing in different conditions to the last 3 weeks later with the weather changed... be abit wet on the ground...need to hold onto the ball and win it in the forwards!
think we only gave one penalty away last weekend!!!! we have certainly cut this out of our game, great to see after the anderson era where it was full of pens

Brough would have been sin binned if he spoke like O'Loughlin did to the ref
Wigan did not deserve a point from that game

| Enjoyable game, however one of the worst officiating of a game I have ever seen, for BOTH sides.
The ref lost the game and looked out of his depth.
Without the aid from the touch judges, I genuinely felt sorry for him.
The RFL need to do something to improve the standered of refereeing to avoid this happening to another ref... but that's another topic.
On the game we did very well but lost abit of structure when we lost Ridyard.
Our last play options in the last 7 minutes or so was baffling.
Both teams stuck to a hard working game plan and though Wigan's dirty side was on show in parts I think a point each was a fair result.

| Another gutsy performance and our unbeaten run continues. Ref was awful but then again Wigan are masters at pushing the rules to make it hard for the ref and are constantly either offside, holding down or feigning to gain pens. Wanes world is not a style of play I ever want to watch but unfortunately they get away with it and gain points from it.
Drawn home and away against the pies so we have their measure and probably should have won both or at least very easily could have.
Really impressed with Hinchy defo MOM for me. Pleased to see Darnall get a go and despite the one drop he did really well. Has often got some good go forward given his size. Murphy is playing better than ever - Mr Reliable and runs back really solidly.
Hope Ridyard isn't too badly injured - seemed to be his shoulder and arm in a sling at the end. What is it about us and HBs this year??
The great escape is still on 7 points from the last 8 is class and has definitely been earned through sheer desire and enthusiasm.
So on to Salford to avenge our home defeat. COYG

| Hewer is a Championship referee and part time.
He works for BNFL in Cumbria.
Should never have been appointed.
Too slow, he looked unfit in the warm up. Couldn't keep up with the game.
Must be someone missing to give the game to a p/t refefree.
Thought it was a goodish game in awful conditions.

| Oooh trinity- what an unpleasant surprise- not seen you on here since we've been winning. Good to see wakey have resorted to their only playing a decent half a season plan for the 8s. Looks like you are destined to never finish in the top four of the competition. Still 5th would equal your best ever from a almost decade ago. That's looking dodgy. I reckon you will win four more this season. Shame about that nightmare pass from woody- How's grix going by the way- not so good lately I hear....

Go to Sky Sports and watch Wigans second try it's over the line at the back of the in goal area it's not even close.
The in goal judge stood indicating no try Hewer and the useless linesman over ruled him.
Considering we had Mamo, Turner, Ferguson, Rapira, Symonds, Lawrence and O'Brien sat in the stand and Ridyard off early and injured, will be interesting to see if that ones reviewed on Monday, I think we did well for a team the bookies gave a 6pt start.
As one who thought Rick Stone should have gone after the Swinton debacle he has since proved me wrong and we are improving and appear to have regained some desire to the point where a win against Leigh or Widnes should see us safe.

| once again the giants showed great determination and team work...didnt get the full rewards but with a ref performance like that lastnight you will always struggle!
one of the worst refs i have seen in a long time and thats saying something, wigan were offside a number of time..especially oloughlin who was stood infront of the ref and once even the ref pointed at him to say hes offside only to then let him make a tackle!
tomkins, bateman and oloughlin thought they were the refs tonight too.
the late shoulder charge on ridyard when unpenalised too. as for the wigan second try well that was on the line at best!!
if we had ridyard on the field we would have win that game, he can manage a game something brough cant... why was brough kicking on the 4th tackle near the end?! and putting in poor kicks?! terrible, ridyard would have done the right thing and likely slotted over a drop goal too.
at least brough brought his kicking boots lastnight.
still its a point gained, with our better points diff its like a win, well done giants
