At the National level with the best players available to pick from you need to be a great man manager and a great motivator. McNamara is neither. Tony Smith did the best job at National level in recent times IMO. We beat the Kiwis 44-0 and won a series 3-0 with him in charge. He instills belief in his teams bordering on arrogance and he man-manages his players so they all fulfill their potential, want to play and don't throw tanties when they don't.
McNamara has already failed in some of these areas before a ball has been kicked this season.
