The quote is totally out of context, the response to it is out of proportion and if people had some common sense they would see the question for what it is - a totally pre-loaded question whose answer is specifically to dispel the myths.

So the coach is p***ed off by the constant references to a slump and the club combat that by a Pre-agreed interview where it's mentioned AGAIN.

It's mentioned at pretty much every sky match and at every press conference.

I know for a fact that ken Davy is annoyed about the journalists constant reference to it because he personally told me so- so I would be very surprised if it was something he wanted asking. Who was paying RHPs wages for MW- cause I bet it wasn't us!
It's been asked - and answered several times already this season by various members of the giants so im not sure why the club would want to bring it up again! I was at the stadium and so coukdnt actually hear the question or answer - was it any different to what's been asked or answered before?

Whether we like it or not we will not rid ourselves of the chokers tag until we win something. However I'd rather support a team who are in with a shout and then choke than a team that never had a chance. You have to have the squad to compete with the big teams and we have that. We are supporting one of the fringe to the top clubs. We are not yet Wigan, Leeds, Wire or Saints, but we could well be on the verge of replacing Saints. The RFL like to spin it negatively which is what I think will be annoying the club. We need positive news stories about us being close to a trophy rather than the negative chokers tag.

Personally don't see why we shouldn't use it to our advantage, cos we ain't going to stop it!!
