I agree Grix to FB where he played well last year. Personally I dont like Brown at loose forward and would put him back to number 6 - However, where would you put Eden who is a definite starter for me?

Last season yes. This season, up to the last couple of games, yes. He's not the only one who's had a dip in form.

Some of his one on one defending HAS been good- he has put in some big hits for a little guy- he just seems to get easily fooled/ stepped.
Grix and leroy have taken some stick about their defence and I'm wondering if it's partly their technique- both those players tackle from front and wrap up the ball (leroy is especially good at this) it could be that their weight distribution then means that if they set up for the tackle it's difficult to move/change direction.

i think his defence is poor full stop.

attacking wise i dont think hes good enough or has the skills to be a half back for us either, but i think this will be sorted in the off season.

your right hes not the only one whos not playing well at the moment, cudjoe is one.

on the plus side grix tries his heart out and is always very busy, backing up and decent in broken play...mr reliable uder the high ball too.

The young lad we got from Leeds, Jack Carvell (sp) was supposed to be a right prospect at 6/13 but not heard much since we signed him.

Either grix plays at 6 or he doesnt play at all. He cant go back to fullback has eden has to play there as he has been one of our best players this year.

Griz has struggled all year for me and gets caught with ball in hand too much. When lee is back I would play lee there and take grix out of team.

Leroy had 1 bad game in defence and we are all on his back. Leroy has done well this year. Nothing bad about having 32 points put past us by wigan but they is with 38 fro salford. We have had 1 really bad game on defence and that was salford. No need to panic to be fair

if i think a player has had a good game i will say so and give credit, if i think a player is playing poorly and feel the giants can improve in an area then i will say so too

Notwithstanding the ban. brown 6, grix dropped.

LC has been defensively week more than one game and needs to back himself more in attack. part of LC defensive problem has been the way Chan has defended. If Chan gets it right LC will immediately improve.

Plenty bad re Wigan. They are the team we will prob have to beat if we want to win silverware. The 32pts is bad enough. However they outscored us 7 tries to 2 !

Few are panicing but some adjustments are needed.

We were up there with Wigan for the first half- we were undone by injuries to both our forward substitutes within moments of them coming on, then jerry-that led to 5 interchanges instead of two. With more luck it could have been a lot closer.

Yeah they were just ahead of us till Gerry went off, the it fell apart in 8 minutes - mainly due to their superb attack (did anyone see Leeds get pumped tonight?)

Indeed! That's with wigan missing their pack! Salford also turned Catalan over- so actually dont feel as bad about the last two weeks.
I'm NOT going to be changing my flights in August for the CC however- even if we do beat wire I can't see anyone but Wigan winning silverware this year.

And at the actual half time it was 3 tries to 1 and at full time 7 tries to 2. Nowhere near good enough.

Far too many 'uninjured' players missed far too many tackles and making too many errors. Grix missing 7 was dreadful.

even nathan brown states we havent been playing well for weeks now and some players dropping below standard

After not being a fan of his at Wakey I was surprised by how good he looked on tv for you guys last year! Sounds like he's gone back to the Grix we all knew!

Last year he was playing full-back !!
He's struggling with confidence at the moment - took his try well today but always looks like he doesn't really want the ball - a couple of times he kicked early in the tackle count and it seemed to me he kicked it because he didnt have the confidence to try something with ball in hand - thats understandable the way he has been playing.
