I'm really confused now. do i need hounslow east and then the 281 bus or hounslow rail and the 281 bus.

where do you get off the bus and how far is the walk.

Wigsey if your coming from feltham get the usual train which will terminate at hounslow instead of going through to teickenham then there is a replacement bus services

If coming in by tube then get off at Hounslow east walk down Kingsley Road onto London road to the bus station and get the 281 from there! If by train get a ticket to Twickenham then go via Hounslow and get the rail replacement bus! The London transport journey planner does suggest going via Hounslow on some of it's suggestions!

If by rail the 281 stops outside the train staion Hounslow BR. The bus to Twickenham RU Ground is 5 minutes and 5 minute walk to ground over the A316. if you get the bus replacement service it will take you to Twickenham town via Whitton. Have a good trip.

Point is I'm trying to not confuse, if you get the 281 after getting the train you're paying for the bus on top whereas if you just get the rail replacement after getting a ticket to Twickenham it won't be extra!
