Damn pitty about mason! Good time to play wigan aswell as there forward pack sounds to have struggled against salford and some messy play! Let's hope we don't get overpowered and remember that mcgilavary, Chan, furgey, crabtree, gilly, lawerance and walker can all drive well and bust a tackle or two! Keep the faith! If nothing else we will give wigan all we have!

We are going to be really light on numbers for the start of the season. Injury wise we are really suffering.

Mase and Fuey will most probably make the Wigan game

2 different ways to look at this;-

No 1, get down an think season over before it's begun or

No2, Look at it as a good thing, NB doesn't seem to want to give the youngsters an opportunity and proper run in the team, the injuries will hopefully force his hand and we will see the likes of Walker, Orwell, Molloy, Sarsfield, Cording, Fairbank, Eaden etc.
Leeds showed last season that the first few of months of the season count for nothing.

I prefer option 2 and Walker, Eaden and Fairbank have already impressed in pre-season, they just need the game time now.

I'd hope they are not rushed back due to NB panicking. With Mason doing his adductor if he comes back too early he really could be out for some time, like Lunt last year

As long as we get a top eight finish and a healthy squad at the end of the season then we are still in a shout for the title - So lets not get too disheartened

On the plus side think Wigan are a little light in the pack due to injuries, will be interesting to see how we go in this one... still going though, up the giants... whats left of them.
