I nearly lost faith in rl. It has been restored watching this game - a cracker of fire, speed and skill and rl as it should be.

Enjoyed the game and wasn't too upset with the loss, expected it if I'm honest althought I thought we made a game of it rather than just rolling over and being stroked.

That was one of the best games on this season and a pat ont back to both teams. The discipline round the ruck was refreshing to watch without all the rubbish wrestling. Good fast RL is what all us fans want and the sooner we get rid of all that crap the better. Grixy is a Leyther and it warms my heart to see him playing at the top of his game. Silverwood is a joke!!!! Firstly better performance in attack, defence a little better, aggression 100% better. Right onto Silverdud, why wasn't Larne given the try? If they reckon he lost it then it went 2 foot backwards and Wood picked up cleanly and scored so why wasn't this one given? The Taylor one was dubious and Alibert gave this without hesitation. Today didn't have an impact but in a tight game dodgy officials can be costly. Always an issue when Silverwood, Ganson or Bentham have owt to do with it. Should be made to watch their decisions back and explain themselves, maybe would be too embaressed then to give a popular decision rather than a correct one

Larne Patricks was a try any day of the week. 99 other games it would have been given and you're damn sure it would have been a try to Wigan lol.

Still, didn't matter in the end and what was most pleaseing was that we didn't dip when those calls went against us but actually lifted.

Larne's was a try any day of the week,and also in a leap year,as you say Codey if golden boy Tomkins would have done similar no way would that have been chalked off.

Put Larne in Cherry & White and that would have been given. Next season our alternative strip needs to be the Wigan home one.

That was the big thing for me today. We started poorly, failed to complete two of our three first sets, went behind twice and had a try chalked off that should have been given, but their heads didn't go down and they responded in just the right manner. Massive improvement. We need to build on it.

Thought Fairbank had a good game to and for me Kirmond was MoM.

Thought Fairbank tried very hard but was outmuscled alot of the time when going forward but he'll improve imo.

Yes struggled a little, but to be expected this early in his career, needs to time his runs better and avoid obstructions.

Disappointing there was no minutes applause/silence for Doc Hooper as well. He was club doctor for a long time, a keen Fartown fan as well and he deserved some form of remembrance IMO.
