Well i dont drive so it would be a horrible journey for me to make..........but i will be there, albeit on the only train that will get us to Hull for that stupid time , 9.43 out of town.

I think you are probably looking at a record low away following from us on sunday due to the kick off time and the fact that the 2nd biggest sporting team in huddersfield have a big game on the same day which the sporting public of our town seem more bothered about ....and that does include so called die hard Giants fans

i would go if i could afford to but i cant. i dont normally like us being on sky but for this occassion i am happy

I cannot Knock anyone going to the Town game.

It is a final in a good venue and it is not often that people will get to see Town in a realy big game. It is as much about the event as about football

Our game is just one of 27 league games and can be taped and watched in leisure.

I will be at the Giants game without a doubt but Durham has hit the nail on the head with this post, i second it, i would have been at old trafford if it were not for the fixture clash so i chose the Giants as they r my first choice. Good luck HTAFC!

I've no interest in HTFC so i have no reason to be at Old Trafford unless the Giants or my Football team play there !

what annoys me is that when we played at Wembley in 09 town had a home game and still got 14,000 people watching them, the fact the towm's rugby team were playing made no difference to the football ...but yet our fans are choosing to not go to our game to go to the town match even though some of them i know have absolutely no interest in football generally

Erm Daz don't you know Town calculate their attendances on Season tickets already bought plus those who pay on the day! Those that went to the Yeovil Game were suprised to find hardened Town fans who had supported the Ken Davy hate campaign had in fact gone to Wembley to support the Giants just as much I was to find them at Wembley myself!!

What are we talking of here? A few hundred who mayve gone to Hull had the final not been Sunday? For Wembley it was many many more than that who abandoned Town for the day!

i dont support a 'town' i support 'teams'...........for different reasons in both sports due to how i got involved with those teams.

i have no more affiliation to HTFC than i have to any other Football team so the fact there playing a game the same day the Giants are means nothing to me as i go to every Giants game ....the only time i would contemplate missing one is if my Football team happened to be in a major final that clashed !!

so why was there crowd that day an average crowd for them if so many had allegedly deserted them ?

because they still count every season ticket sold, even if that person is not at the game.

If town had sold 14000 season tickets, but for a game 0 home fans turned up but 50 away fans did, the attendance given would be 14050

Giant daz im not having a go mate im just saying i find it hard to believe anyone would have passion for 2 different town/cities in different sports, im hudds in both sports as im born and bred hudds!

im not knocking town at all and good luck to them on sunday, i just cant understand how giants fans can choose not to go to hull but go to old trafford and record the giants game, why not go to hull and record the town match to watch at your leisure, will be intersting to see what happens if we happen to be at wembley or old trafford later in the year and clash with a town fixture.

Just what happened when the Giants were last at Wembley! Some Town fans with no prior interest to the Giants going to Wembley!!! Why?? It's an occasion!!

I'm sure had the Giants fixture been at home then you'd have more to grumble about!!
