We wont destroy saints. They have a damned good side and we are not playing to our potential.

| Here's our 19:
1. Paul Wellens, 2. Ade Gardner, 3. Michael Shenton, 4. Sia Soliola, 5. Francis Meli, 8. Josh Perry, 9. James Roby, 10. James Graham, 12. Jon Wilkin, 15. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, 18. Matty Ashurst, 21. Shaun Magennis, 22. Jamie Foster, 24. Tom Armstrong, 27. Nathan Ashe, 28. Thomas Makinson, 29. Scott Hale, 32. Joe Greenwood, 33. Warren Thompson.
We have no halfbacks left at all now! So at present Mr Invisible will be partnering Jon Wilkin. As you can see by the squad numbers, there are some very inexperienced guys up for potential debuts/near debuts this week. Nos. 27 to 33 are all 19. And at least four of them will have to play!
I think we are in for a drubbing on Saturday. We have over-achieved so far given the number of injuries we have been carrying. We're bound to crumble some time and I suspect, especially if the weather is as bad as it is forecast to be, your kicking game will just finish us off.

It's not the half backs that will cause us to struggle, it's Huddersfield's pack. We will only have 1 senior player on the bench. It means Graham is likely to have to play 80 minutes.

Nah. No way will he play 80 minutes. He'll be knackered against Hudds.

| Giants Head Coach Nathan Brown has named his 19 man squad for Saturday's 'Clash of the Titans' against St Helens, kick off 5.00pm.
The Giants 19 Man Squad is:
1) Scott Grix
2) Michael Lawrence
3) Leroy Cudjoe
4) Lee Gilmour
5) David Hodgson
6) Kevin Brown
7) Danny Brough
Eorl Crabtree
9) Luke Robinson
10) Darrell Griffin
11) Luke O'Donnell
13) David Faiumu
14) Shaun Lunt
17) Danny Kirmond
1icon_cool.gif Larne Patrick
19) Greame Horne
20) Jermaine McGillvary
29) Joe Wardle
37) Dale Ferguson
Looks a strong team. only mason and faalongo missing. Looks like Simpson is out of the picture (which is no great loss from what I've seen so far). No Andy Raleigh either who personally I would put ahead of Horne.
Dodgy and Kirmond to miss for me.

| I think Simpson has a shoulder injury, shame Andy Raleigh is still missing - has looked good from the time his has been on the pitch.
Good to see Ferguson back.

Could potentially be long term then, didn't he have a lengthy spell out last year due to neck problems?

| Can't see anything but a comfortable Hudds win.
Even having seen the squad, I still have no idea who will be playing in the halves. Wilkin and Wellens looks most likely - frightening pace!

| Its funny how Wigan and now Saints fans have to ram it home how their playing a bunch of 'kids' and how their squads are so depleted before they play us ......5 years ago they wouldn't have even mentioned it as they would still be so confident of beating us whatever team they put out.
That shows how far we have come when the 'big' teams' fans are making games against us win-win situations ie...they're expected to lose so if we beat them it isn't an achievement for us/what a brilliaint result for them beat Hudds with a bunch of little kids playing etc etc......
Saints will still put out a fearsome line up that most SL clubs would love to be able to field just like wigan did and just like the Wigan game the best team on the day will win !!.

| tough call who to leave out. i think they will go for experience in the backs meaning Wardle to miss out.
Kirmond and Horne is a close call. i actually think they are similar pace wise. i think Kirmond is a stronger runner but Horne is better at finding the gaps out wide. I also think Horne has the edge in defence so i would go with him for this game.

We didn't mention it because we didn't have to rely upon half a squad of young players when injuries struck. In fact, five years ago, we were a very healthy squad and hardly had any injuries. Nothing to do with Huddersfield. Sorry.

| Saints are favourites, we're only poor old Shudds, whose first team couldn't even compete with Saints youth team
What aload of old tosh, Saints will put out a strong team, if we don't stand up and be counted we will lose, perform like we've done since the Headlingley game and we will lose.
Our lads need to put a shift in and a big one to beat them, they are not to be taken lightly.
