Again, i thought we didnt really hit top gear tonight - we nilled a side at home with 4 or 5 players rested while playing in 3rd gear - forget how bad Hull fans say their team is they still have some class players - and to do that to them at home while playing at 60-70% shows how good this team we have could be this season.

Just like to say your defence was superb last night (probably the best in the league). Your line speed was excellent, didn't give us any time on the ball whatsoever and consequently we score 0 points. I fancy you to beat Saints next week, il certainly be cheering you on as it's about time somebody started to compete with Leeds and Saints. Good luck for the rest of the season.

apart from that first quarter when i think hull had the upper hand and we could have been 12-0 down,we totally dominated hull in every single department, and they never looked like troubling the scoreboard.
i really am feeling confident about the rest of the season, we haven't really got into 4th gear these last 6 weeks and yet we are totally destroying teams at the moment.
i thought our pack looked to be getting beaten up for the first 10-12 minutes but after we got on top the airliebirds simply had no answer to us.

I have to admit to having had a 'banana skin' feeling for 2 days before the match and then into the first 20 minutes. With a little more luck on their behalf Hull could have been even 18 points ahead before we cut out the handling errors and silly penalties. It was a huge sense of relief that I felt when we scored the fist try.

Remember though, Leeds have the second best defence in the league and they've a game in hand




Good defence and a faster, more attractive game than we've played on many occasions this season. We've usually been well-organised and hard to beat but there was an added edge last night. Kevn Brown looked sharper too. And the players' committment continues to impress.

To be fair Fc hammered our line for the 1st 20 minutes - if they had scored once or twice it would have been a whole different ball game - we managed to keep you out through great defence and then we slowly turned it up .
it wasn't like it was one way traffic all game - we stil had to battle to get the 2 points.

That my friend,has been the nub of our problem all season.

to be fair i take pride in beating anybody,as every win counts,and every defeat hurts. and yes hull offered very little resistance after the first quarter, but i notice on your boards its all agar,sharp and thormans fault..i wonder how many of you have actually thought it could be that the good local talent you have dont seem particularly bothered anymore? i noticed a few of these hometown boys seemed disinterested on friday including your captain.
im sure hull will come good again soon they have some good players and a decent coach who given time will get it spot on i think

I'm not one for tit for tat arguments but we have been top of the SL this season. Only for about an 1hr or so but we did hit the dizzy heights.
