Another massive game tomorrow if we win it really is looking good, and a win on Friday and we could have a play off position tied up before the semi.

Big push tomorrow please, reading the Examiner the lads are really not resting on their laurels and want to push for a top 4 spot.

Single word to sum Catalans up - THUGS.

Cracking result and we managed to 'rest 'a few. Thought first 5 we were in trouble the Catalans used the 40-20 to good effect however we over powered rhem and in the end won easily.

Have to say our defence is awesome, they tried and tried again but could not break us down, seperb performance.

i got the feeling at the end that the lads were not just pleased bt there was an air of we know how to beat teams and we know what are strengths are, and we'll exploit these.

Almost certain play off's after today a win on Friday will mathematically confirm it, happy days.

Their were some big hits into today's game by both teams. I think frustration kicked in with the Catalans with deliberately laying on followed by some very sloppy hits. I thought No.22 for Catalans had a excellent game.

Also special mention to Griffin, who I think ,has had his best game for Giants in a very long while.

I hope Lunt is OK, looked like an off the ball incident, I was pleased when he came out to applaud the crowd at the end which would suggest it maybe just a knock.

The sad thing about today was we were under the 6K barrier for the first time this season.

I think I saw 2 Catalans fans, and a load are on the jolly's with the start of the school summer holidays, so I'm not that surprised TBH.

I did actually see more than that around, a group of 12 but couldn't be actually heard when they score their try's!

In condolence of the attendance though there were more than yesterday here today and yet there were less seats available for spectators today! And yesterday was so boring even the town manager requested the 4th official not to add time on!

Yes I guess there must have been more than the 2 I saw, but still the crowd needed to be 99% Giants today.

As for Town I'm pleased to say I don't follow them just glad they didn't mess our pitch up

I dont think there was any thugish tactics from the Dragons today.

Lunt got hit as he passed the ball so the player was committed and there was no way of avoiding the collison. Lunt will prob miss next weeks game because a slight concussion (I think theres a mandatory 7 day layoff isnt there? with a concussion) but he was out at half time and sat on the bench talking to the subs etc.

Hodgson (B) had an accidental clash of heads when he got tackled in the in-goal area. Don't think there was any malice in it at all.

I think the game was a very physical one played but two large forward packs but dont think there were any thugish tactics. My only gripe would be the speed of the ruck which seemed slow. Overall I think Mr Bentham had a good game and dealt with everything he had to whilst trying to maintain the flow of the game

Totally agree. How the hell he had the cheek to pull us up for holding down at times when Catalans were doing it for longer and more often beats me. The guy is a muppet.

Got to agree with PBGiant thought Bentham had a reasonable game, he got all the big decisions correct. Did not get a close enough view of the Lunt and Hodgson incidents to comment. I think we sometimes forget its a contact sport. Just happy that we did not seem to come away with any major injury worries.

How come Bentham was Ref today?

Hewer tripped over Bentham's ego in the warm up.

The RFL decided to put Bentham in charge of our game after Leeds unexpectedly lost to Wigan on Friday giving us a chance of finishing 2nd. Unfortunately for the RFL the plan didn't work and as hard as he tried, he couldn't help the frogs win.

Hewer tripped over his comedy 3 sizes too big shoes and landed on his red nose causing untold damage so another of Billy Smarts finest had to be shipped in!!!!!!
