I was quite happy with the draw until they then announced that we would be one of the televised matches - Nooooooooooooooooo! The last time when we were on SKY I politely asked the guys on the gantry not to bring their chuffing cameras to the Galpharm again - I think they thought I was mad! The only saving grace - if there is one - is that this match does not have [uall[/u the ingredients of dismal failure ie it's on a Sunday afternoon and it's the BBC instead of Friday/Saturday night, at home and on SKY which seems to be the lethal combination!

I am happy with the draw and i know we are on T.V but i still can see us coming away with this. I hope we get wigan in next round and beat them and KR get saints and KR beat the saints

FWIW i like watching fax on the SKY coverage of the Championship, they look like a decent side now

the only reason we didnt get on was because we are in the championship. they should try putting something on tv that is not super league v super league cause they tend to be better do super league v lower league teams instead of the same saints v leeds borathon every year.

They should have gotten Ganson to put on a blindfold and blow his whistle at a random time with a light flashing over the fixtures still remaining in the comp. The ref blows, the light stops and the highlighted fixture is thus chosen.

It would have been like food and drink to Ganson too, as he refs his matches in a very similar fashion.

There was an article in The Times the other week about CC games between SL and National League opposition. Was it 92-4, results wise? It was something like that, which gives you the most likely reason why the Cas-Fax fixture was overlooked for an all SL tie.
