I do wish you lot would stop taking the micky out of our friends at HKR.

I've had comments from 400 HKR fans who had each organised a bus to come to Sunday's match. Unfortunately due to work commitments these plans have had to be scuppered for the Friday match and some of them have now organised just the one bus.

They were all genuine with their comments - honest.

This works out good for me. I can rarely make sunday games but thought that with the season ticket offer I might just about break even if there were a few games not on sunday. However it doesn't bode well for the Giants as they have played exceptionally poorly every time I've been this season.

Could you stay at home then

I think the club will do a lot of promotional work to get the crowd in but I'm sure 90% of season ticket holders will be in attendance. Also with the uni back in full swing I think some discounted tickets could become available to attract the students. I honestly think that the attendance will be around the 9,000 - 10,000 mark

In june? They'll have finished for the year.

Though all the schools/uni's finished in mid july?

Uni finishes in May. It's a life of reilly.

Mine doesn't finish til mid June, and I know some who's doesn't finish til the end of July.

Uni's dont finsh in May at all, at the moment however the vast majority of students are currently sweating bricks over their exams, or have just handed in dissertations and are waiting for results.

Agree with that for sure. With work commitments & such, away games other than Fri nights are going to draw in a higher attendance. This is quite a late announcement by sky, they usually make their minds up a bit sooner than this on fixtures too – after that w/ends games those to be shown during June are still tbc.

I'd say more late September than the end, especially if you include Freshers (which is technically part of the semester).

How can you come on & defend students working?????
