| Phew - well that was a weekend and a half. I am absolutely cream-crackered and I need to sleep. Have just about thawed out now - I have never been so cold but strangely have a pink face from the sun! Had real good crack with fans from other clubs although the Celtic supporters in our hotel were a little dis-chuffed this morning. All in all a good weekend but I think on balance I prefer Murrayfield to the Millennium as stadiums but Cardiff for the watering holes as Edinburgh is too spread-out and at the moment is just like a giant building site.

| I loved it!! Never ever sat where my tickets were for!! And glad that had the stewards been more strict I did choose lower tier as those steps to the upper tiers were long and high!! Watched our game in the heights of the West stand and boy was it cold but lovely views out over the city!! Watched the other games in the East lower with the sun in my face and feeling lovely and warm!!
Cobi loved it too and wasn't too much trouble and was completely whacked after both days!! He made friends with kids from almost all the clubs participating!!
From my point of view the non strictness of the ticketing was a concern as there were 3 types of ticket prices and yet anyone could sit where they wanted so had I gone and splashed out I would've been so upset with the situation! Thankfully I didn't!!
I can't comment on Cardiff as I've only ever been once and that wasn't for this type of event! But I'm sure things could be improved in Edinburgh but all said and done it was so great to see 14 sets of supporters enjoying each others companies without any bother!! Apart from that Cas fan behind us complaining about us sitting on tackles!!

| I'll be glad for the trams next time. I was knackered after walking to and from Murrayfield + getting lost in the centre. My phones does not account for for the different levels on it's Map App.

Just be glad you didn't wait for the bus like we did!! Bus after bus went by full to the rafters!! i think we finally got a bus after 3/4 hour only to find our lift was directly behind that bus!!
Having been to Edinburgh many times the digging up of Princes street was a shame as that street just amazes me how it's so commercial on one side then really historic and cultural on the other!! Plus the narrowing of the footpaths it was a tight squeeze on some parts!!!

| How cold was it in the west stand? Brilliant weekend and everything but I prefer Cardiff to Edinburgh.

You're lucky! Yeah, we sat behind the posts, it was absolutely freezing up there. After five games we eventually moved to the east stand which had seen some sun over the weekend. Couldn't believe the difference in temperature.
A brief look round the city, meeting some decent fans from a variety of clubs and 2 league points for the Giants made it a good weekend, though next year I'll be sure to a) take a thick coat & b) get tickets for the east stand.

| We got tickets for the East Stand (in the sun).
Quite a few drifted in where we were, from the end stands. But the steward had to move them on as they were sitting in reserved seats.
It is ok if they were sitting in non-reserved seats, but not on if they were reserved.

If anyone asked me to move I would have done so gladly - but it never happened.

| We had tickets for the South Upper but never actually sat in them, we sat in both East Upper and Lower, West Upper and then watched Cas game in North Upper. Saw a few fans asked to move further down the row because they were sitting on someones reserved seat and they moved along with no bother. I don't think anyone gave a monkeys where you sat, after all there was plenty of room and the stewards let common sense prevail.

| We got asked by fellow Giants fans to move as they'd sat there yesterday only to find these people had moved to other seats by the Leeds Catalans game!! As i've already put had I bought these tickets and found all and sundry could sit there regardless of what they'd paid I would not have been very happy!! But I didn't so a bonus for me!
All i can say is thart I'm so glad they weren't more strict with the seating as the south and west stands never get warm even in the summer according to those that work there!! they are many complaints about how cold it was but why did these fans not use their common sense like everyone else and go where the sun was??
