It was stripped and i thoiught the Faiumu one was worse but i think he missed a couple where we stripped the ball as well.
Brett never touched whoever it was on our touchline, but he judged that the Leeds player involved was elbowed and there was zero contact.
If that is the one where wild took out the kick chaser it was a penalty
If we are entitled to opinions on here, then mine is that Silverwood was very biased. Not because we lost, but because he was.
Play the game back on your sky+/Virgin+ whatever and tell me we weren't given the mucky end of the stick......
See ya tomorrow guys.'"
Will watch it again later on SKy. I thought that wew were a little bit hard done by but not massively and it was our inability to perform when the cameras were there that cost us.
I mean Hodgson dropping a dolly from the KO unbelievable. Then kicking one dead

| Just finished watching the sky+ recording.
Silverwood made a few cock-ups both ways, but they were crutial for us and not particularly for Leeds. Twice he gave knock ons for us when only a metre from the Leeds line, and they were plainly stripped.
I dont belive Hodgson`s try should have been denied for a forward pass, having rewound and looked twice, according to the field lines it was ok.
Also when Brown was looking to get the ball out when we were about 5 metres out, he did pass it back and it was knocked down by a Leeds player and we went on to touchdown and that was wiped off.
Also Leeds last try Peacock (only slightly) knocked the ball forward and was gathered by Leeds in an offside position, the try stood.
And a knock on by Moore near the end when we were on the Leeds line, well Mcguire was practically at the side of the Huddersfield player who was playing the ball, infact most of the Leeds players were not behind the line, but no penalty was forthcoming.
All told I think Leeds deserved the win, but the score should have been a lot closer, and with a fair crack of the 50-50s and a fair bounce of the ball
we could have been in with a shout.
Leeds defence was really good, but ours was quite good as well, just ended up as not our night on the night.

Didn`t Salford spank yours ????
And there`s nowt wrong with our fan base at the moment.
Remind me of the Leeds population in comparison to the Huddersfield population. And Leeds should be attracting 50,000 a game. I rest my case.

As a neutral I have to agree with all of the above post, plus Leeds attempted and suceeded on stripping the ball on numerous occasions, like when Mcguire lost the ball the stripped it the very next play, and what about Hudds player penalised for not playing the ball when Buderus had him tackled and bent in two, I think the strange video ref decisions by Alibert and the inept reffing by Silverwood has put a lot of pressure on Cummings to sort this out, if not the game risks becoming the laughing stock of sport.

anyway back on topic, we were poor (as we always are in front of sky camera's) leeds didnt do anything special, just did the basics right and for once our defence had great big holes in it which leeds capitalised on.
however i dont think we were as bad as the score suggests were we?
as for the ref, well most ppl know where silverwoods allegiances lie but he didnt cost us the game, apart from letting a few forward passes go( for both sides) and a couple of 50/50 calls went leeds' way however i think we are more gracious than some fans and the coach from a certain east coast club.
lets put it behind us now congratulate leeds on what must have seemed like an easy win for them and go and take it out on the wire.

| Quote ="robinho"Oh the irony - Shudds fans booing the ref all night because a few 50:50 decisions go against them.
Had your players not continually stood off-side, not thrown forward passes and not grapple tackled all season I might have had some sympathy with the 50:50 decisions that Leeds always seem to receive.
Still a dose of your own medicine this evening will hopefully have took you down a peg or two especially as Shudds, in your eyes, don't need the ref on their side to win.
Moan and groan all you like, I will not bother reading your feeble attempts to justify the reasons for your performance tonight. All I'll say is what goes around, comes around.

TBH i dont know what kind of reaction the KR trolls are expecting to get on here?

As for moving on, I did that half hour after you beat us last week when I posted Huddersfield deserved the win, nothing to do with the ref.

Most people complaining about Thaler last week were concerned he WASN'T making calls when he should have been, thought that was clear in most of the threads.

| Absolutely no complaints about the referee from me, and no complaints about the Giants effort. They tried 100% first whistle to last but just lacked composure when it really mattered. These big games are something of a new thing for us and a lot of our squad but the more we play the better we will get. Well done Leeds, they took their chances absolutley clinicaly - just like we have in most games this season.

Agreed. We were beaten by a better team on the night. We will have to stick to beating mediocre teams like Hull KR.

| Not having had the benefit of watching the game again, I think Mr Silverwood reffed OK. Sure, he missed some things, but he was, on the whole, consistent and even-handed.
Thought M Alibert got a couple of things wrong - but I wouldn't be biased if I didn't say that, would I?!!
We were taught a lesson by a better side.

You need to watch it again. It was clear forward.
As for the brown incident, I cant believe you say you watched it again, and he passed backwards bouncing off a Leeds player.
He passes backwards for sure, that can't be dissagreed with, but it hits his own left arm and then bounces forward. Therefore a knock on. how can you fail to see that, if watched again?
