Can I just politely tell you to stop being so bloody negative! We've got a good squad, yes, we're missing a prop, but there's many things to be pleased about.

- We're not happy with a 4th place finish! Would you have been happy with that 10 years ago?
- 7,500+ season tickets is bloody awesome to be perfectly honest.
- I've seen more people in Claret and Gold around town than ever before
- Yes, we need a few players, but we have an excellent spine of players (Broughy, Cudjoe, Jerry, Wardle, Eden, Grix)
- We have cap room for another player
- Tommy Lee isn't the best signing, yes, but look at NB's record with younger players.

Let's face it, you'll be there next season, I'll be there next season - be happy and enjoy it! You never know, it might not be here forever!

As one who used to stand on the Fartown terrace with often just 400 other souls,I know how lucky we were when Sir Ken came in and dragged the club off the floor,so it's best to [itry[/i and keep disappointments in perspective.Folk only have a moan because they care,that's worth remembering.

Aye, I know this, and even in my time we've seen 3,000+, but there's lots to be really happy and thankful for, it just seems everyone is depressed!

Ten years ago and longer I would have been delighted with 4th place, I was delighted we still had a club.
The money we are now throwing at these players and 4th is far from good enough. Beaten by Cas in C/C and the last 3 months of the season was an embarrassment.
I will only be happy when Kevin Brown or whoever is captain is stood there in C&G holding some silverware aloft.
I aint gonna fall into trap of last year and will wait till season end to get excited.
7000 season tickets is fab after way we finished season like it or not but we will need another 4-5k ontop of that if and when Ken Davy decides he has done all he can for the club.
Might be worth some folk visiting The George and popping downstairs cos that's when we could be really proud.

I said 'we're not happy to settle with a 4th place finish'! I want silverware, and so does everyone else, but I'm proud from where we've come. That and I've visited downstairs in the George, and I think we should be promoting our history. I'm not 'not allowing' you to go for silverware, I'm just saying we should be glad that we're upset with a 4th finish.
