I agree the main sponsor spoils it and seeing the training gear suggests Bond it could've not had the white background made it look far better but I'm thinking there'll be a white number panel on the back.

Excellent shirt, I'm a traditionalist at heart and love the look of it, don't mind the collar at all, well done.

Yes but they were proper collars with only the top collar bit white which folded over around the neck not bright white half way down the front!

The part around the neck is the collar. The opening down the front is the placket.

It's what we wanted and sponsors are a necessity I think it will be great to see the traditional design and colours for a season. Away strip white shirt with a broad claret and gold V please or the old white with a two hoop band !!!

Now now don't be greedy 1961. We have a traditional - we need to maximise sales so a modern away shirt will hopefully go some way to pleasing more fans and encouraging them to put their hands in their pocket.

yeh usually the alternative strip is totally different...we have had blue/grey/white/black! whos knows what this time but they could be going to whole hog with the centenary thing and have a white one if thats what the away strip was back in the day?!

I'm a great traditionalist but if we have a "retro" look home shirt, the away one has to be something eye catching that will attract people that want something other than a Rugby Shirt.

The collar is part of the kooga design of all their shirts for 2013-14 ospreys,Gloucester etc have same collar. The giants have no say over it anyway I like it but going to wait until the away one comes out as I keep my shirts for 2 seasons due to costs

If you want something other than a rugby shirt why would you buy a Rugby shirt ?

Yes they were claret the kit is very similar claret and gold hoops white shorts claret socks.

There are lots of pictures of them with the 4 cups all with claret socks !! Well in sepia or black and white so assume they are claret no hoops !!

Inside the collar it's got Team of All Talents stritched in which makes it feel a bit special.

The back has 'Schonox' and 'Rescue Tape' advertising.

Overall pleased with the look of the shirt.
