No I wasn't at home, I go to every match and shout for my team. Unfortunately you only played against our reserves today so the result was quite predictable. Yes your lads played well in the second half, but this was the cup and you've got to produce this every week in the league if you're going to win anything. How did you get on against Rovers?

Now Now Mr Chuckle. Play nicely. At least the Hull fans have come on and said 'well done' and 'good luck in the rest of the comp'. No moaning about the ref, weather etc. Be gracious in victory as well as defeat.

Cheers mate....the big difference today was your bench...you had 2 kiwi internationals,a aussie international and england knights player...we had 3 U-20s (1 on debut) and the superb Whiting.in the end the power told.Was good experience for our youngsters and Gentle isnt afraid to blood them either...unlike the other tit we had.

Thing is Hull have got a ready made excuse because of the squad they put out but lets be honest, even their 1st choice 13 would have struggled to contain our backs on that performance but we wont get any credit because of the team they put out which is a huge shame because we totally blew them away with some scintillating attacking rugby.

As a previous poster said, the telling factor was probably the disparity in experience & ability on the benches today, and that's not a dig at the the young lads Hull were forced to play due to the injury situation, just a statement of fact.
