Whilst I think you are the better team, the only 'top 4' team you've played so far is Warrington. A good victory, but in round one its not a true reflection of either team - no team was anywhere near their best in Cardiff.

A loss to Castleford then a win against Quins & Hull (who've been terrible so far) doesn't say Bradford are looking at a thrashing. Looking at the form book I'd say Hudds by 2 scores. But as we all know anything can happen in RL (it's why we love it!) and if your players think along the same lines as some of the fans then the two words egg & face come to mind.

If you look at the top 4 teams in the league, you'll see one of us as played 3 of them or put it this way all the teams who are in good form

Agree, we haven't beat a single team by more than 10 points so far and have one of the worst attacks in the league. I expect us to win but unless Bradford really implode I can't see it being anything but a tight low scoring affair. ( watch it be 52-0 to one team now I've said all that).

We've created more and more, we are just yet to see the chances through. This will come though, we'll start scoring more as the season pushes on.

Is that the same Quins who have won all games, apart from against us, including trips to Leeds and Saints? and Wire who have only lost against us this season?

We are far from the finished article but if someone had offered me 3 wins out of first 4 games, I would have taken that!!

We took Cas far too lightly as they are a very good team and we got our asses

I'm not syaing you've done badly, I'm sure fans of most teams would take 3/4.

All I'm saying is, there's alot of Huddersfield fans who think (or at least act like they do) this game is won already. In reality, I reckon it will be a tough game for both sides, and form wise you'd still have to back you lot but I don't think it will be an easy game for either side.

It could be a cracker though, and if Brough is at his best our defence will certainly be tested!

Never mind historic analysis of 'top' 4. The current top 2 have 4 wins from 5. The only team to beat the 2 form sides is the Giants. Quins beat Leeds away and saints away but in between the Giants beat them at the Stoop. The Bulls have beaten 2 of the weakest sides in the competition. If the Giants play 'top end' they will win for sure. Anything else and the reult will be in doubt.

All this banter about the season so far, yet the only thing that matters and will determine the result is who performs on the day.

I'd like us to reach some of the potential I know we have tomorrow, but having said that if we get the 2 points, I don't mind if we play average at this time of the season - it's about getting points on the board and building a sound base for the business end of the season.

Agreed, every team can beat any team in super league and that has been shown over the last few years. However I would like to see the Giants' attack sharpen up significantly this week as it will take a lot to crack Wigans defence next Friday.

One thing is for sure - if we dont turn up ALA Cas we will get beaten again .....although i'm sure NB will have this drummed into the players before every game now.
Bradford are a hell of a better side than they were last year, but, we are better than them in every department i feel and if our main men have their playing heads on it could be an easy day for us......step off the gas though and the Bulls will have us ...cannot be complacent in this one !!

We're going to need to be strong around the ruck and watch for Bradford's runners in that area. They like to try and get on a roll with quick PTB's so if we can stop that I think we'll be a fair way down the road to turning them over.

We ain't really clicked yet and I feel somebody is gonna cop a big 'un when we do. Wonder if that will be tomorrow?

Bulls fans think they're resurgent after beating the current bottom two teams. Sold out 500 Adult tickets therefore there will be more Bradford fans than Giants too.

Well, by my reckoning, if, if we beat the Bulls by more than 27 points we go back to the top of Superleague.

Then one to ruin it?

No-one thinks we are resurgent to the extent that we will see us beat anything that comes before us.

However we do believe in our new coach, and our new team. We are nothing like the Bulls you faced last year. And instead of mocking us for selling those tickets, why not praise us? I know if you sold out your allocation when you visit Odsal i'd say well done, lets hope for a cracker.

Again, I'll try and divert the thread to the 80 minutes of RL. I think the potential is there for a cracker. If Herbert finds his feet then we'll be more potent in attack, and our strike players like Platt, Elima, Whitehead will try and break through. Obviously we'll need to deal with the (imo) MoS candidate Danny Brough as he looks to carry on his early season form, and even if we shut him down we'll have to shut down Brown too.

Both sides can (if they cut down errors) offer alot in attack. Your lots defence will be tough to break down, but our goal line defence has been good so far. I think on papar its your match to lose, but early on in the season and both desperately wanting another win, it will be a brutal contest and one that both sets of fans will enjoy, win or lose.
