Regardless of when our game would be they would always be complaints from folk as friday nights aren't good for some, saturdays for others and the Sunday slot was always going to be Wigans due to their football team already at home on the saturday and not allowing the rugby prior to their "important" game!!

i presumed after wigan fc had played the first 2 games at home this year that weekend was left open for rl for a reason

John_D, have you not seen the Huddersfield Giants latest press release concerning ticket prices for Saturdays game against Crusaders? Prices will be £15 for Adults and £10 for concessions in the Direct Golf Stand and the Britannia Rescue Stand. Ticket prices for the Fantastic Media Lower Stand will be £5. I think these are reduced rates?

About the best results we could have hoped for going into the playoffs, Crusaders will be stiff opponents, but so long as we have no complacency we will be ok and into the next round.

But I have no doubt they will fight tooth and nail all the way, and quite right too. We can not be complacent!

Also anyone who plays local cricket or football. I think the timing of this game will have a massive effect on the crowd.

Given that Town are away, maybe someone at the club will have the bright idea of tempting all those Town season ticket holders to come along.

They dont seem to grumble about watching footy at that time on a saturday...

I think Nathan has been pretty smart this last few weeks as we've played a little differently each week, concentrating on different things and that will give Noble lots to think about. Hopefully the Hull KR game will have taken plenty out of the Crusaders physically and emotionally and we get off to a good start. Sammut and the big second rower are the danger men IMO. No silly telegraphed passes for this one and good discipline required. Robinson has, for me, has possibly been our most dangerous player in the last couple of weeks and seems to be hitting his peak at just the right time.

if we play basic rugby league i can see no problems for us this weekend as long as the players concentration levels are turned on !

Good call - Wigan Athletic are at home on Sunday 19th - probably meaning they will want to play on Friday night, meaning we'd be on Saturday.

cant afford any complacency at all in this one, crusaders can cause anyone problems and we have to be in tip top shape,as someone has alluded to already nobby knows how to win play off games!
