Larne Patrick will suprise a few if he plays, very aggressive runner and speedy player, only knows one way,Fartown's Lauaki!! If O'Meely thinks he did some tackling on Friday he is gonna be in for a big shock.
Mason might not get back in if Larne makes a name for himself.

anyone who witnessed the crunchers he laid on Fozzard and Graham at saints coupled with the hooooowge hits that Cussack and Luaki were handing out then i think it is the Hudds front row that will be in for a big shock..
oh and then a little matter of Fitz and Manu coming in third man that pretty much finished off the saints threat after 15 mins...
Non of this saints were crap rubbish the facts are that the big hits levelled all the game players they had and thus they ran out of steam..

Should be a cracking game on friday night with a big attendance. Hope the weather is kind so as many of you can make the journey as possible.

Picked our tickets up today. Can't wait to visit again the only stadium in Superleague better than ours. Looking forward to a great game and fantastic atmosphere, with a Giants win of course

the giants have patrick (more than likely) raleigh, crabtree and griffin. Hardly players that a backward step and all know how to put in the big hits

follow that up with fa'alogo, gilmour and faiumu and both teams are in same position.

A fair bit of focus on the Horne Bros, which I suppose isn't unexpected.

Interesting to see Nathan has Danny Kirmond marked to be a frotn rower when he comes back according to one of those articles.

I am surprtised at the Kirmond bit as he only really moved to second row when he camne here after being in the backs at Fev. From centre to propin less than 3 seasons is very quick. Am wondering if he has likely lost some pace after the injury and being pounding the weights whilst doing his rehab.

Either way it will be good to see Wild and Kirmond back.

I think it'd be too early to see whether or not he's lost some pace from the injury. Think it's a safe bet though that it will certainly take him some time to get to his fastest.

Perhaps we're moving him up to accomodate the fact we've got so many second rowers and a dearth of props.

We'll have to see. There was all that talk of Robbo going to th ehooking role for this season and that hasn't really happened as yet so it could be a bit of smoke and mirrors as well.

I think that's it Dan, the fact that we have so many accomplished second rowers in the side. He would probably be viewed as the weakest of the bunch when you look at the calibre we have now. It will be interesting to see how it works, still wish we could have held on to Sculthorpe though.

I would not have had Kirmond down as the weakest by any stretch. He would have been the strongest on last years form

Really looking forward to this game. I see Huddersfield at the point we were in 2005 only we didn't kick on. I think you've got a smart coach who knows what he's doing and you'll be there or therabouts for a few seasons yet. Should be really close tomorrow. The last few occassions you've bossed it upfront but I think it'll be different this time around. Hope its a cracker with home advantage being the difference - Hull by 50

That is pretty steep for kids I've got to say. Don't they have season passes?

I got my kids the Home season tickets as they aren't with me every weekend but after last weekend they want to come to every game now. I tink I could have bought them season tickets with away tickets in for £35 which I might end up doing before next weekend.

If your kids have season passes then they get free entry to all away games anyway AFIAK its the same for all teams.

No you have to have the £35 season ticket for kids which includes the awau vouvhers.

It is frre for a season ticket just for the home games.

No I mean we won the cup in 2005 got to the Gf the following year then dipped and dipped and.......well you get the picture.
