not thinking i was told just after lunt left for leeds from a comment of two giants staff and reading between the lines what was said at senior giants meeting and elsewhere but of-course ivor will know differently

I am wiling to have £10 wager with anyone on the site ( money to squadbuilder) that Lunt will not wear a Giants shirt in a competitive match again.

one of the truer words durham. with the bulking up of the pack i can see 5/6 leaving with nowhere for them to play through the wisdom of the rfl agood squad of 24/25 as i believe leeds went with at beginning of last season.grix no 6 behind that pack if all the names play well.

If Lunt does move on,then the hooking situation becomes a big problem for the coaching staff to wrestle with for next season imo.I could expand on why that was (imo),but I'll leave it at that for now.

Grix is good enough to be 6 if the rest of the team do their job

As for Lunt not playing for us again, I won't comment on him playing for us again or not. But the only reason he wouldn't be playing for us is if we get a good fee for him. Otherwise he'd be at Leeds now.

Regarding some players not getting game time with our bigger pack, let's see who's on the treatment table after a month into the season...

is grix your long lost son or something? i also state the positives of grix but you dont seem to want to know about those do you.

ill state it again where i lie with grix, he is our best player under the high ball and always gives 100%, hes is also a good player to have for his utility skills and for cover. nothing wrong with stating where i feel the giants can improve as a team

i dont feel he is good enough to play half back and i also dont feel he is that good in defence either. im not the only one who thinks this but hey ho lets just always pick out my comments.

on lunt, we shall see. ive stated ill be happy if he returns, if not then it wont be a surprise because theres enough to suggest he might not play for us again yet....yet again im not the only one who thinks this.

i dont rate the retro shirt and also dont think its worth the money..id rather pay for the new official one thanks, is this ok with you?

is your hgsa report in the examiner yet?? if any of the other write ups are anything to go by they prob fell asleep reading it.

That would mean that the coaching staff were doing their job correctly,which of course they should be.

Which they clearly werent for a depressingly large part of last season

I've yet to see a quote from Lunt confirming anything of the sort, various people at the club have confirmed it but nothing from Lunt himself.

Agreed, have disagreements on messageboards by all means but no one can deny the effort and commitment Dave gives to the Supporters Association, the reports are there more for information value than entertainment.

Especially when Brearly posts a new topic about shirts which is valid and still gets critcised. no wonder the boards go so quiet in the off season

Fro nips- you should know by now- you can slate the guys putting their bodies on the line each week to your hearts content- especially when it's the scapegoat of the month- but under no circumstances is it allowed to criticise the way the club is being run for the supporters.

You can criticise all you want, but at least try to have some validity, reasoning or constructed argument behind your criticism

When each and every post someone makes is utterly negative about every aspect of the club you have to wonder if they are a supporter of the giants or not

I've been critical of players, coaches and management this season, and I've been critical of things like the retro shirt situation. But I've tried to make a reasoned argument, provide alternatives and explanations

have you read the recent topics 'CRABTREE' AND 'BIGGEST PACK IN SUPER LEAGUE' just to name a couple... are they negative or were they positive?
