Giants looked very good last night. Ironically I thought the 'team' play was better without Hodgson, as if everyone decided they were freer to vary the play with the usual 'go-to' man missing. Hard to understand why Wakey were quite so poor, nonetheless, given some of their results to date.

And they joined in with 'I'd rather be a Giant than a Cat'. Made my smile even broader.

it was quite ironic that morton was getting stick whilst being left on a 3 on 1

, if it had been leeds or saints they might of been more tolerant . like you said a few of the huddersfield tries got a deservedly round off applause , sometimes no matter how tinted your glasses are you have got to respect quality play .

but the way huddersfield just did the basics of running on and backing up was reminiscent of watching saints 10 years ago and the way how they defended the line in the 2nd half was like watching NRL.

yeah wakey have played better but ive never seen the giants perform so well and i think they may struggle to back it up but if they do and beat the whinoes next week then we are looking at certain GF contenders.

awesome one of the best giants performances for years and the best thing is i think they can get even better with the quality still to come back into the squad, thought fatz and brown were outstanding on attack and gilmour and big dave were awesome in defence.i personally didnt think wakey were that poor just we were top notch, hope we now can kick on against the winos.

Woke up early to listen to the game on Sunday morning.... but fell asleep again and missed it... I was completely shocked by the score as I expected a tight and brutal game...
