Yep, brough could have taken it, but would have been taken down anyway- but I said at the time he should've kicked it!
However easy to see when your watching! Not knocking him!

It looked a poor pass from where we were. But a different angle may tell a different story.

Also, saying he lacks confidence in himself sometimes isn't knocking him. It's stating a fact based on some of his performances. I did write that he has potential and that I like him. How is that knocking him?

yeh i thought cudjoe had the option to kick aswell with no full back and 3 on 1

A neat kick can be great to watch but in the situation like last week the ball should be passed 100% of the time IMO. Brough had a free run to the line.

totallt agree. In a situation like that you have to pass as it is a far safer option than a kick. All Brough had to do was catch it and it was a walk in. i know it was forward but did Bentham actually give the forward pass or only the knock on?

Basically, Brough made a couple of howlers, but also made some astounding plays

In all seriousness, he's looked a bit flat and out of sorts since he came back from injury; I wonder if he's fully recovered?

Either way, he's a class act - we've never been the same since he left WTW.

He had cut out the howlers, and I think he wasn't quite fit or up to pace with the game, also he was coming back into a team very low on confidence. Teams low on confidence make bad calls. That's what happened in this game IMO.

It was a poor, forward pass, don't blame Brough.

But the pass went behind Brough's head...If that was already forward what should he have done.

And I don't think it was forward. Certainly no worse than most that are let go.

It looked a mile forward to me and the people I was sat with at the match.

I didn't think Brough was in front of Leroy, and if he wasn't then it's not a forward pass.

Agree 100% it was a shocking pass.

We all think Leroy is ace, a local lad and bags of potential (me too) and some still don't like Brough (not me) but no-one can blame Brough for that missed chance.

The plot was lost just prior to NB's issues back in Oz, if that hadn't of happened he wouldn't be here now IMO soon as a job comes up he actually wants and he will be off I reckon.

He wasn't in front of him when he passed it, he wasn't in front of him when he dropped it, it wasn't forward.

Was a shocking pass whether it went forward, backwards, upwards or downwards, Leroy knew it and apologised to Broughy straight away.

We are not knocking Leroy as a player whatsoever but on this occasion it was a shocking pass, shoulder height and Brough seemed to have to stretch to attempt to catch it.

Sometimes players even pro's have too much time and too many options and panic causing them to choose the wrong option, won't be the 1st time won't be the last and ATEOTD the way we tackled against Leeds even if we had scored it we wouldn't have won the game.
