There's been a dramatic decrease in Town season tickets sales for the upcoming season so their average is not going to be as high as last season the current financial climate has a big bearing on this I'm sure!

Folk should go out and get a season ticket for next season as theres going to far less cheap tickets flying around as they've got rid of the Bring a buddy vouchers, but no doubt they'll still be folk around hoping for a freebie and I think the club should at least try their hardest to keep these to the bear minimum!

I shall be getting my son one not that he'll be going to many home fixtures but he will be going to some away fixtures!

It would be really nice if we had a better avg than football could we actually do it? I've heard loads of people say they ate going to get tickets Monday- butost are people that already have season tix.

The Town £100 ST offer was a joint venture by Ken and Dean Hoyle, Dean doing as part of his new venture into chairmanship of Town and for the centenary celebrations!

Ken then did a similar offer for the 2009 season for the Giants at £95. Remember the "free" Catalans game and the big announcement in 2008?

Went down and paid for mine yesterday. Had a chat with a guy from work here who used to have one and he wont be getting one as he can only attend on Sundays. I said it'd pay for itself if he only attended 5 matches but his argument that the 5 matches on Sunday (if we even end up with that many!) would be the less attractive ones as Sky would cherry pick the good ones. Hard to argue with that theory but there is time for him to change his mind.

I can usually only go to Sunday matches too due to work but I'm still getting a ticket. It helps the club financially & looks good on the franchise application. Plus Ken's virtually giving them away...like you say, 5 matches & the rest of the home season is effectively free.

But the truth is its a fantastic offer that will raise support for this year which will dwindle away without on field sucess

Whilst I appreciate the SKY money is what keeps our game going there needs to be a balance and too often there are too many games on fri and sat that are not on sky we cannot just keep blaming sky

Perhaps we need a stronger RFL managment team to stand up to sky and to set a quality fixture list to support grwoth not line the pockets of the RFL

We have been chosen for Sky games much more than any other season, or it at least seems that way this time out. I just don't see how success on the pitch wont mean getting picked as the Sky game.

It would be nice if we could get the Saturday Sky game moved back to Sunday, which is how it used to be yonks ago. Even then though I don't think that would completely solve the issue.

Would not be suprised if we had a Friday, Saturday and Sunday tv game soon. I have to admit though I prefer friday evening games, relax with a beer after work and watch the game. Leaves me with the whole weekend to do my other stuff..... or to have a crap weekend if we lose

I purchased 2 tickets yesterday - one for myself and one for my brother who is a true Rhino. Said its a no-brainer to get one as going to the Galpharm, nice environment, good pies! watching some quality players is far more attractive than going to the run down Headingley where he has watched RL for the past 25 years.

Has anybody else managed to get some interest from any fans of other clubs?

My 3rd ticket is for a friend whose family are Wire fans, but only by tv as they are in Weymouth, she is technically a Wire fan too but hasn't ever been to watch them if that counts? Either way it's a fan totally new to live weekly league games
