totally agree there fella, we all hate losing, but from what i can gather we played a blinder for 80 mins and wakefield fans may be embarrassed or peed off by the defeat .. but as rugby league fans they should have realised that their opposition hit top form last night and on those days all you can do is enjoy the rugby played by the opposition and swallow your pride

Some of the tries scored last night got a round of applause from fans stood near to us, some really good stuff to enjoy but its hard as you will understand, still i signed up for the long haul and you sometimes have to accept it it has part and parcel of the great game.

Decided last week against Wire I wouldn't be too upset that we lost but I could only ease the pain by not being too overjoyed when we won our next game. Rudyard Kipling's 'IF' and all that. So, I'm happy we won but it's just another game, leading to next week.
And to the Wakey fans that had to run the gauntlet of 'We can see you sneeking out' walking past the half way line from some of our fans, fair play to you; It feels terrible I know but you all took it in good humour. That's what makes league fans the best. Good luck for next week.

Giants looked very good last night. Ironically I thought the 'team' play was better without Hodgson, as if everyone decided they were freer to vary the play with the usual 'go-to' man missing. Hard to understand why Wakey were quite so poor, nonetheless, given some of their results to date.

And they joined in with 'I'd rather be a Giant than a Cat'. Made my smile even broader.

Says on teletext that they are featuring Bradford v Wigan. No mention of covering our game. It's only on 45 mins now so don't expect too much. It is the BBC.

agaibnst Wire our passing was slow and laboured yesterday it was superb.

Well done to the coaching staff and the players for all the work they put in last week.

I dont even think the scoreline accurately reflects how good we were. Another 10 or 12 points could easily have been on the board.

If we can get all the players fit, have competition for places and a good rotation policy we really should be strong at the end of the season.

mason, Kirmond, patrick all competing for one props place should allow eorl, griffin and Raleigh to have a rest.
