l would not blame Stone for todays game, this is a shambolic performance from a group of players who have shown no pride in the shirt, no passion, and have been totally outplayed by a championship side, the worst performance l have wittnessed for a long time, even l feel ashamed.

The problem is Thewlis, and the senior players who have a mediocre attitude and don't have the balls to win.

Given the team, this is the worst performance for a very long time. Back in the days of Hudds/Sheffield and all that, the team was crap. They got beat because they were crap.

This lot are getting beaten because they can't be d.

I think, therefore, that this may be the worst performance I've ever seen from the Giants.

Ultimately the coaches the players and the conditioning staff are all chosen based on certain criteria.

The debacle we have seen today has been building up for the last four seasons. Really poor decision making by the club leaves us in a position where we are left with nothing to even feel confident about for the future whilst he is at the helm

It's just that Stone's been around for about a month now, and he's had a couple of games to get to know the players. I'm not expecting miracles in that time, but his team just served up the worst half of rugby league I've ever seen from a professional team.

As awful as it was. You can't blame Stone for nobody claiming the first kick off, or conner kicking out on the full the resulting kick off, or Murphy dropping the ball in our first attaching set. Attitude from the players stinks

Yes the players were dire but I expected to see us breathing fire but nooo once again we were 'rabbits in the headlights'

players have it too cushty at the giants if ken davy didnt play them for two weeks due to financial troubles they might buck their ideas up but they know they will get paid win or lose and some will have jobs still in sl next year anyway

Can't blame any coach for that bum bashing yesterday, the players shouldn't need firing up, they should know what a game like that means and should be ready and willing to fight for the cause without being told to.

We have no leadership- stone recognised that. Could be seen clear as day yesterday. No one is willing to take the players to task or influence what happens in the game. Little things can make a difference. Case in point yesterday you could drive a bus between leighs markers at the ptb for much of the game. I know it always looks worse from behind the sticks but it was as shocking as I've ever seen. I didn't see the captain politely point that out to the ref or any of the officials- he could have just said- you know sir I'm really keen to have a run from dummy half but the way those markers aren't set is limiting my choices.you could bet you dollar if it was leeds after a while Maguire would have had a quiet polite word in the right manner and perhaps a couple of penalties where correctly warranted would have changed that, instead we just allow the disadvantage to us. A mistake is made like the missed kick off and a leader says right never mind a bit of a challenge to take on now boys lets rise to it. Instead there's a raised hand of apology and they all just shuffle their feet and look down.

The ultimate responsibility is with Ken Davy, it might be unpalitable for some to hear this, yes without him there probably would be no Giants, he is it seems a financial wizard, but l have said before he is not working in that kind of environment, this is the very merky world of RL.
lf you think the problem is Thewlis, then its Kens fault, if its Stone, its Thewlis,s fault, and therefore Kens fault. Ken gets the applause when it all goes well, he carries the can when it doesn,t, l am sure he will axcept this. l have previously stated, l believe Ken is an extreemely honest, and genuine man who plays by the rules, in his financial environment, integrity is everything. but RL ???
lmagine this season happening to say Wigan or Saints, both have history, would they have taken the fall, or would they have bought their way out of trouble, there will be hundreds of ways to beat the salary cap, but Ken, not in your wildest dreams.
l firmly believe there is a big problem at the Giants, and obviously l am not alone, but don,t go scapegoating, that problem whatever it is, is Ken Davy,s problem, and its up to him to sort it out.

In hindsight, probably the worst thing we could have done was win the shield 3 years, even though if was great when it happened. This lead to complacency within the club and bought Anderson time during the current season when really he should have have been dismissed much earlier and a new coach given more time to work with the players and sort out the deep issues that seem to exist. Blaming Mr Davy for the current demise is unfair. We wouldn't have had the years in Super League without his support. Like all organisation, he has to reply on so called experts advising him.

A man should always listen to advise, but a wise man can differensiate from good or bad, the buck stops with him.
