Looks like Saints may be going into the semi final with only 1 recognised front rower in Hargreaves.

It's not nice seeing players injured but this is great news for us.

I guess Kieron Cunningham will not be playing either. It appears that his punch on Stosic yesterday broke his cheekbone and eye socket. Will be out for rest of the season.

Cunningham should be out for 3 to 5 games i would have thought.

To make you all feel better, we will now also be without our fab newbie Wheeler, who has damaged something in his leg and will be missing for a month, and our very talented youngster Lomax, who got hurt in our Wakey match and will be missing for an as yet undetermined time.

I'm actually beginning to wonder whether we will have a full 17 by the time we get to the semis!

I was meaning Stosic. Early reports say 8 weeks which would end hi sseasonn i think. Cunningham will probably get 3 games.

Good news for us. Saints can use these injuries to build a siege mentality though and Saints are still favourites IMO.

If he did get 3 games wouldn't that rule him out of the semi, just?

We still have to get through some games between now and the semi so can't assume we will be full strength either

Well we're already without Kirmond, Raleigh, Jammer etc so we'll have to see if any of those guys are available.

Not heard anything on Kirmond probably get some gossip down at the pharm later.

It's probably too early to say what state the teams are in until after the games on the weekend of the 1st/2nd, alot of water needs to pass under the bridge before we can truly assess.

In addition to Roby, another new injury is Lomax (who would fill in for Roby/Cunningham) who may be out for 5 weeks if his scan shows a serious ankle injury.
