| ATOTD Wigan fans say it was fair so it was. EOS. Similar to the late, high shot on Robbo last season like. Fair hit, the RFL's judgement is clearly flawed the same as the views of everyone else in the world bar Wigan fans.
Black is white, night is day, the hit was fair, running in and punching someone from behind when they don't know it's coming is fair game and so on. It's clearly an anti-Wigan conspiracy if you ask me. I asked Stuart Cummins and he told me he's never liked Wigan. He thinks they smell of bins. True story.

| Quote ="P-J"They're missing because they reacted to the Hull FC players. J. Tomkins for going after Yeaman after the tap (though replays show it was a fair hit) and S. Tomkins for coming to the aid of his brother after Yeaman had punched Joel in the face three times. It's insane that they singled out Sam when EVERYONE was involved in that brawl.
Either way this is your best chance to beat Wigan. We're significantly weakened and you're on a good run of form and at home.'"
Yep ill-discipline, raising your fists and striking someone is exactly that, yet it's us who should feel as though the RFL and the officials at the game are at fault.

all missing for the champions? 3 of those, richards,o'carroll and finch haven't played this year so not really "missing" are they? wigan have coped pretty well without them so far.like the preview states, only the tomkins thugs and deacon are out of the previous squad.
yet
Darrell Goulding, George Carmont, Thomas Leuluai, Michael McIlorum, Andy Coley, Harrison Hansen, Sean O'Loughlin, Paul Prescott, Jeff Lima, Ryan Hoffman, Amos Roberts, Lee Mossop, Liam Farrell, Chris Tuson, Stefan Marsh, Josh Charnley,
are all in,and most of those would walk into most super league 17's
so sorry wigan fans but your whingein and ready made excuses dont wash with me!

| FWIW, we had Lolesi, Whatuira, Raleigh, Kirmond, Aspinwall, and Patrick [+ Drew missing, mostly injured, when we beat Wigan away last season.
Did we moan?
No, because we were used to it. We usually had 5 or 6 players out injured for each match. There were only 3 or 4 matches when a player didn't leave the field with a medium to long term injury.
Get over it Wigan.
And also let it be a warning to our players what can happen with an understrength team!

| Quote ="Guerrier"Come on now, it's not simply losing just ''a few players'' is it?
Of the unavailable group of Tomkins x2, Richards, Fielden, Gleeson, Deacon, O'Carroll -
.'"
Lets not be too silly about this.
- lima/prescott/coley are props if fielden and O'Carroll were fit Wigan would not play with 5 props
- if maguire opts to play with 1 hooker then deacon woud be out of the halves and not play
- getting players with the right values and attitudes is important the absence of Gleeson / Tomkins 1&2 has nothing to do with unfortunate injuries - it appears down to the choices of players.
So a couple of players would be competing for the same places and up to 3 bumped themselves.
The giants will have 3 form players definitely not playing - Patrick / McGilvray / Ferguson (all England Knights call ups) + there is Raleigh + whoever is not in our final 17 starting, such as Robbo. Yet we are not prattling on about who is missing.

Yes if we lose tomorrow Could Gahan and C13 please note i will not be back until after midnight so if they could look after everything. the way they are winding themselves up on the Wigan board they will be on here like a flock of locusts.
NB to Giants fans, if we win the mods on their site hit the delete ban button quicker than the RFL banning a wigan player leads to cries of conspiracy.
Christ i hope we win or it will be armageddon on here. Although i do have a list of 50 posters on the Wigan board cut and pasted to add in to the banning section if needed.

We like to play dirty do we? Garbage. Sp Huddersfield crowd? We get more at home than half the league, just because we don't get gates as high as Wigan doesn't automatically make our crowds sp. Lack of atmosphere? I've been having a hoot, ta. Garbage.'"
On the crowd thing there as been a discussion from Hudersfield fans stating that 40 per cent of season ticket holders dont attend friday/tv matches if the normal walk up decide its on tv I cant be bothered to then it could be sp compared to what you should be getting!
If we do what Hull did to us last week it will certainly quieten any crowd.
As for Players missing. Out of the players "unavailable" Sam, Deacon, Fielden, Richards, and Joel are the ones we can count as going to miss!
Gleeson wont play again so that counts him out.
Deacon is our direction and kicker and so a big loss. Sam is our main threat and also gives the option of Tommy going to 9! Roberts should come back in but I personally dont rate him.
Fieldens work rate will be missed but it gives Mossop more time on the pitch to develop which will be good for us in years to come. Same with Joel, I dont think hes played well this season so we cant really say misssed, but it gives probably Tuson and Farrell more time on the pitch who are mor ethan upto it!
Take Richards points out of any team and they wont be the same.
Said before its a chance for a few others to stand up and show what they can do, who knows not having Sam as our go to most attacks may bring something different to our attack!
If we lose its because the 17 werent good enough to beat the Huddersfield 17 either that or Thaler as stictched us up!

It was only when you had injury woes the other year that Sam Tompkins really came to light.

| Will be either a close fought fight with nothing in it or you guys will walk all over us. Yes we have injuries, yes we have absentees but regardless - our form just isn't there yet and your men are playing really well.
Never the less looking forward to coming to your place tonight and hopefully it'll be a cracker.

| We played well last week. Our problem has been consistency; will we be able to back up last weeks performance? This is what we need to do if we're going to really be in with a chance this season.

Sorry, haven't read the intervening 8 pages and may be repeating other Wigan fans, but I don't think a win for you will be such a big thing. To be honest you've beaten us at your place a few times in the last 5 years, and most RL supporters realise you've been at least a top 5 side for a couple of years now.

| I think either side could just sneak it. I don't think it'll be a big margin of victory whoever wins.
However, I would just point out that this is round 6! It's not how you start your campaign, it's how you finish.
Can't wait for K.O. This is going to be a great match. Hopefully the atmosphere at the ground will be buzzing too!
