Robbo went to Salford on a better deal than Wigan offered him!
Brown was struggling in a struggling team. After he burst onto the scene people thought he could carry the team but the pressure was to much for a young lad. Moving to Huddersfield was a good move for him and the club. He came into an situation were he didnt have pressure on him and could enjoy his rugby. Hes now developed his game gained experience and huddersfield and England are seeing it. Staying at Wigan would have ruined his talent but as said before had he come through at a different time could have seen him become a star at Wigan.

I personally think Lockers is a better 2nd rower than 13 but not better than Ellis or Burgess.

Fielden probably wont play sat but think he will be in the best 17.
If he does and Morley and Graham are in who would you pick Griffin or Crabtree?

Have we ever won a series for the last 40 years ???. These lads can`t do any worse than previous classy sides who have gone before, therefore they are in a win,win situation. They are not expected to win owt, and if they do it will be a bonus.

Thye are then found wanting when they have to compete against players a nd teams better than they are used to.

Because it is entirely possible that good players who have the ability , the skill and the temperament to play at a higher level are overlooked because too many English coaches are too stupid to look outside of the top 4 teams and pick players on their reputations rather than there ability.

They tend to play it safe.

I mean if you pick all your players from the Grand final contenders over the last few years ie saints and Leeds you surely cannot go wrong, they are bound to be world beaters.

Out of the 6 players we have going over i would say the only one you have rated (Crabtree) is the only one that hasnt justified his selection this year! He has had two good games at the end of the year but has been nowhere near his form of last year. I'm glad he is going because he ads something different to the squad, but as i said anyone who has seen hudds more than a handful of times will tell you that we have 3 other english props who have been consistantly better than Eorl this year.
