The captain and coach may well be right , but not just about yesterday, There are far too many performances like that through a season.

You are right about it being Andersons job to lift the side up, which I think is not his best quality, As you well know I am not a fan of his, I don't think he can motivate them, nor can he threaten them either, they know the situation better than we do, The performances , Good or bad, seem to depend on what mood takes their fancy.

I didn't expect to beat Catalan with the side we can put out at the moment, but even with a full pack to choose from we have a relatively slow and lethargic pack with a distinct lack of fight for most games, Why can we put up so much fight in some games such as Wigan and Leeds and yet get rolled over with such ease like yesterday.
It happens at most clubs from time to time, but at most clubs do something about it, If we lose to Wakey ( God forbid ) It may well be squeaky bottom time for Mr Anderson. The only things he has to use, is of course the injury list, but to be honest, I don't think Smith is any better that Kopczak (if as good ) and Huby is not the offloading forward he was at Cas. so don't see those two would have transformed us, Mullally had more go forward than both and he hardly got on the field .
I don't say Mr Anderson is responsible for the hiring and firing of course, but he is certainly the one to be held responsible for their attitude on the field, If he can't stop them repeatedly giving away endless Penalties who are we to look to. Anyway whoever does the Hiring and firing he is the one who will lose his job when the crunch comes.

no im not fickle pal i liked nathan browns style of rugby we seemed t much more fast flowing rugby with brown in charge n tbh i dunno who i raplace him with maybe a unknown ozzy like nathan brown

to be fair we did play some good stuff under NB but we also didn't have much in the way of structures etc, despite what people think of our style of "football" etc, we have a very good record under PA.

i dont no how u can say PA is a better coach than brown when brown got us t the cc final what has PA done for us nothing hes not really signed any good players all r good signing come from brown n the last 3 season weve been finishing lower in the league each season so how can u say PA is any better than brown

Because we have been consistent under Anderson, we haven't failed to finish outside the top 4 in his tenure, yes we haven't made a final under him, but we are the best team in the league under Anderson in terms of games played and won, no mean feat.He is also the only coach in 81 years to lead us to a league winners title!

I have nowt against Brown, and rate him highly, he did a fantastic job for us but it just ended badly, but like Anderson, he couldn't get us over the line in terms of trophies, and yes he got us to a cup final, but so did Jon Sharp.

We have been consistent under PA that is true enough, consistent in the brand of football played for the most part, which if you measure the team by where they finish the season you will be happy with. Consistently losing fans as well, which Mr Davy will definitely not be happy with, and to be fair the very fact we are losing fans would seem to suggest the situation will not go on indefinitely.

Anderson actually won something, Brown didn't. Remember 2013? A season and a half after he left Anderson bettered what brown achieved in the league. Yes he got us to a CC final but so did Sharp if we are making comparison's. By your math brown and sharp are as good as each other.

not sure we can blame anderson for how the season has started, we just dont have the players on the field to win the games, when/if we get near out best 17 and back to a settled side and the wins dont come then we can start looking at anderson

Tbf that squad we had out was pretty good- barring huby I'm not convinced any others would have made a difference or is everybody praying for grix to come back now.....

you missed the bit where i said a settled side! including ellis/brough playing together again and having crabtree/rapira/smith/huby (that wont happen this season)

a few other positions too , its like new partnerships every week

widnes are doing well, they have their number one fullback/ half backs / forwards / hookers all fit...but will they cope with injjuries like ours? not many teams would, look at leeds!

spot on is that you cant really blame anderson for injuries we just need to get a settled side now and the wins will come looking forward to seeing how brierley will play with brough in theory they should compliment each other well
