standing for me, even though it's behind the posts, if we can get a few hundred stood up we can possibly get a good atmosphere going..
as for the game, salford at easter is one game i dread, we hardly ever win there, we hardly ever turn up,even though we usually have a good following.
it could go either way, both teams have players who are more than capable of turning it on and both teams seem to lack confidence or have any momentum.
hopefully we get a confidence boosting win and our season flourishes after..

Both end terraces are very shallow so will be going down the side and to be honest the £2 extra to get a better view is worth it.

Yea I agree! Nothing taken for granted though! Teams are competitive and we are on and off the boil between games!

Salford have a good squad, Hanson, hock, mullaney, sau, chase, smith ect they have a whole load of strick although are leaking points! We have to go there and play a defensive game and shut them down and build a platform, knock there confidence and build ours!

Wakey, well god knows, was well until the Leeds double header, sure they are able of a good performance and not to be taken lightly

Cas..... Jesus what a team they are at the min! Score for fun and are aggressive! Can we match the intensity and hostile crowd? We will need to bring our a game to get owt from that

London ok we should win this but seem to be getting better each week! We don't want to be the side that they click against!

Bradford, again getting better but should be a win if we perform!

I would say four out of five would be brilliant with Cas being the one with too much enthusiasm for us but not sure about Salford either, may catch is cold still!

Play like we did against Wigan saints Leeds we will win don't and well god knows!!

like i say 4 wins and id be happy anything less and i think a top 4 finish will be unrealistic and disappointing..look to a top 6

The Reds usually mug us, they play to a structured plan , slow the game down , bit of niggle, play the percentages, good Kicking game.
The giants play with Gay abandon throw the ball all over the place, and spill it at every oppertunity.
Broughy need to have his head on the right way round for this one, ie. facing play, and not the ref.

If you choose to park on-site at the stadium, please don't moaning our message board afterwards about it taking 45 minutes to get off the car park. They close it for 25 minutes after full time to allow pedestrians to exit, by this time everyone is waiting to leave and there are queues.

You are advised to park at either Barton Airport (directly facing the stadium entrance - £5) or Eccles RLFC (15 minute walk and only £3).

No we will probably moan at the truly ridiculous turnstile system, ticket office staff who are not only slow and rude but who ignore the queues of people they are being paid to serve to instead text their mates on their phones when kick off should already have started -and the ridiculous length of time it takes to get TO the stadium from the motorway.

You won't be moaning re getting to the stadium, new traffic lights on the roundabout have sorted that issue out. Plus if you pre-purchase your tickets and are organised it sounds like you'll have nothing to moan about.

have always parked at the airport, had no problems getting away after a game, obviously easier with only 1500 at the games i've been to, i suspect there will be at least double that on friday?

as for tickets, i found out last year that this is one are the stadium is absolutely hopeless at!
i'll be pre buying tickets this time but won't be surprised if they move the fans into another stand again!

I would be disappointed if we don't have 5k plus on for this one. If you don't pre purchase tickets you will need to buy one at the ticket office before the game, no cash on turnstiles.

Easier to pre purchase, can even print your ticket off and take that to the turnstile.

if you don't pre buy you will have to queue for 40 minutes while the 2 people in the ticket office work out what to do, be prepared to pay more than the advertised price (like hull on thursday). then get to the turnstiles to be told you are being moved to another stand



i would hope we bring a decent amount over john,we usually do ok support wise at salford, but we have usually made a good start before we come to yours to get our fingers burned!

I always pre buy my ticket - but still had to queue to swap the kids tickets which weren't the right ones, after walking all the way round ( even though id phoned the club to check and was told by the woman who answered that they would be accepted) Then walk round the stadium again only to be told to walk all the way back round again as we were being moved. Biggest farce I've ever known.

I have noticed drastic improvements in the last 12 months, Koukash has got a grip of the stadium management company and they appear to have got their act together.

Just remember NO cash on turnstiles, pre-purchase a ticket and avoid parking on the stadium car park unless you're happy to wait 45 minutes after full time to leave.

The fans bar is always open after games and is worth popping in for a drink rather than sat in traffic if you do decide to park on site.

why no cash on the turnstiles? odd decision.

i have bought my ticket from the giants as it has been a farce on the last two occasions at salford.

Obviously staff can't be trusted with cash...

Insurance issues. Wasn't a cost the stadium company were prepared to foot.

So hopefully you will all see how desperate Marwan is to buy into the Stadium and improve things for the club. We are doing our best but the hands are tied around the back.

If you need to get away within about 40 minutes of the end of the game, don't park at the stadium, You WILL be stuck in traffic.
If you haven't already got a ticket, give yourself plenty of time to get one at the stadium, as they are busy and slow (although friends of mine have turned up 45 mins before kick off and not even had to queue to get one).
The match day experience is great now. There are lots of things going on both inside and outside the ground. Loads of places to eat and drink (including a *spit* Yorkshire based stand selling real ale, specialist whiskies etc.), a marquee outside the fans bar that has live music, the fans bar which is spacious enough, selling two pinters if you are that way inclined, "fun!" stuff for the kids, scantily clad fire eaters on stilts (I you not), the fittest programme sellers you have ever seen, etc etc....
But don't worry about any of that, turn up at 5.45, park in the stadium car park and moan like bitches because it was "a nightmare" getting off the car park.
