Actually, watching the game on tv, and they never stopped trying. To say they have no heart or didn't want to try is doing them a complete disservice.

In many cases they were completely outclassed (Horne at centre, really? Does NB not watch the videos?) and after the opening 5 minutes daren't tackle.

One thing I will say is Kev Brown is a good stand off, not great bit good. I don't think he is captain material though.

you didnt see them stood behind the posts after conceding another soft try or the half ar$ed attempts to get back into the defensive line or back to halfway for another kick off, some players,not naming names,clearly do not want to play for this club,im sure people who were there will know what i mean.

wow. talk about knee jerk reaction. Raleigh was our best forward on the pitch by a country mile, the person who had a stinker was Grix and you fail to mention him? NB needs to focus all the blame of this loss on the officials, this is the way to give us a chance against next weeks opponents, taking the loss off the players shoulders. we were pinged out of the contest after 10 minutes, with a fair share of the 50/50s and rub of the green we would have been in that game for a lot longer. But when things go against you your head goes down and bad things happen.

whats gone wrong since you played us on 12/6 you have won just 4 out of 15 before this run I had you down to make the grand final good players dont become bad overnight. I think the problem last night was a case of the Ref penalised us out of the game in the 1st 20 mins and Wire had got the game sown up by then ...our guys tried hard enough but just didnt get any help like Wire did 1st half and obviously that is going to deflate the boys...also Wire are probably the best team we've seen in this country for a long time and it will take an almighty effort to stop them !

He wanted quick play the balls and that was from the start and penalised both teams for this. That played into Wire's hands and because of the ammount off possesion they had we were on the back foot all the game with regards to penalties been given away. The only ones he got really wrong were the high shots when the players were slipping on the slippery surface and penalising us for high shots when infact it was them who were falling into an arm not the other way round.

Bentham as the video ref was another matter. They must see different replays to what we see on sky!!! The Brough knock on was a joke which led to another try for Wire. I think he should be going to spec savers

Ill discipline and a slow start cost you, in the form of penalties and poor play when you had the ball. You had energy sapped out of you that made it too hard to come back, especially with a weakened side.

to be honest watching it on tv i think ganson giving warrington all the penaltys in the first 15mins lost you the game because once they got in front you werent getting back into it i thought the scoreline flattered them a bit

NB lost the plot, Brown is not a standoff and never has been, more 2nd rowers than owt else and still signing more.

where the hell is this clamour for simpson to play satnd off come from? i was one of kevin browns biggest critics when he moved to stand off but if you are going to replace him at stand off get some one who it is their specialised position, has anyone ever seen simpson play stand off?

Agree 100% no point swapping Brown for just anyone, we need a top class stand off proven in that role, Kev Brown is a good player I will agree but a stand off he ain't.

Back to centre for me where his lack of pace off the mark doesn't show as much and poor kicking game doesn't stand out as much.

A standoff for me should cocky and confident in everything they try, not a paticulary good tackler but should be fast over 5 yards

can talk all you want about moving brown to centre but it wont happen... especially with nathan brown in charge

you would of to drop wardle or cudjoe to fit brown at centre too which is a no go

get me a better stand off than kev brown in our squad then i will happily move him back to the centres...till then he is and will continue to be our stand off ...and a pretty decent one at that !

Spot on!! I've been more disappointed with some of our performances than that this season. Every bounce of the ball went against us and every 50/50 decision went against. Add to that the start Ganson provided for Wire it's hardly surprising they nearly scored 50. I've knocked our effort a lot in the last few months but last night wasn't one of them. Why does Ganson have to act like such an arrogant tosspot?

The first penalty in the game went against wire. But Wire never had to get out of their half due to Giants giving easy penalties. The first was a simple hands on a player not needed. Wire were buried in the corner and five meters out. After that Wire never really handled the ball in there own twenty. Some where gaints have lost that intensity and discipline. Brown is no stand off but he is not the cause of your change of fortunes. You did perfectly well with him last year and the first half of this.

Much like Myler losing the ground against Grix,so scragged Scott around neck as he got up to ptb causing the ball to go forward off his foot.Not needed.The outcome,scrum to Warrington in great field position that led to a try to make it 10 nil.

This is the infuriating thing now,some refs obviously are brainwashed into this idea that the lower ranked team are only here to stop the top ranked team from displaying their array of skills,and then turn a blind eye to the top rank indiscretions.

McRae called it exactly right in commentary after that opening penalty against Lawrence,if Ganson is giving pens like that in the opening exchanges then he has to be consistent with that type of interpretation for the rest of the game,and guess what he wasn't.Yes he could have pinged us again later in the contest for similar,but he also could have pinged Warrington and he didn't.

Warrington were putting second efforts in all game and didn't get pulled up for it.

At one point Ganson warned us saying "when I say move you've got go get up" well true to his word if we didn't he penalised us.

When we had possession he shouted move and Wire pushed the ball carrier onto his back and then got up...

Hard to score against that.
