By all accounts Rick Stone is favourite for first coach of the season to be sacked.

Well remember those accounts say we are going to finish bottom so.....

Don`t quite get how they arrive at that conclusion, as we are not a club that takes quick knee-jerk reactions. Ken D. always seems to give a fair bit of slack.

Personaly I am pretty confident about the coming season, so won`t be betting on Rick going.

Was always said it would take 2-3 years to get the squad and club he wants so can't see him being sacked in his 1st season - this isn't football !

They have arrived at that conclusion by no other means than by basing it on last year.

It will be interesting to see how catalans go this year. I think they underachieved with their squad last year. Could be the last for Laurent.

They don't know Ken Davy then .... Always some teething problems with a new coach and system but can't be any worse than last years tripe .......

Think the bookies have him as favourite... time will tell but I think Ken would understand that Rick still only has 2 of his own players.

I didn't count AOB & Mellor, they have come in under Rick, but I'd be very surprised if he had even heard of their names before Xmas. I'd have thought Thorman/Robbo/Thewlis would have been the driving force behind those.

I'm sure he will have been Advised- but he won't have had them forced upon him, he has agreed to sign them -they've arrived under his tenure so therefore they are his players.

ferguson was linked with wakefield i think but after his impressive performances in the 4 nations prob swayed us to make a move if it wasnt already on the cards, can see him linking up well with brough if he gets in the 17
