Anderson's MO is to bring them straight back normally but both Johnson and Mason played above anything I have seen from them before last night and what does it say if one or both are dropped ??

No way should Patrick go back into the squad at loose above Bruno IMO. Does he go in at second row instead of Wardle? Connor has had a really good few games so should keep his centre spot I feel, so no changes there for me. Taai hurt his knee in the game against wire so if he needs to rest up and get over that larne could take his place? If his knee is fine then no. Eorl is a bit of a club talisman and has a very good tackle success rate, but the young uns played well. Neither should we wear them out though! As for Ormsby- I really don't like Murphy at centre so it depends whether pa wants someone who can run the ball in with a bit of weight, he also has a good finish or stick with Murphy who had his best game of the season on Friday.

crabtree for his experience maybe but its a nice selection headache for anderson to have for a change.

mason and johnson showing lastnight that they have benefited from getting game time this season, not all doom and gloom in defeat, johnson is going to be some prop when he comes of age.

ormsby and murphy linked up well at hull fc.

id put connor in for wood at half back all day long, wood at hooker for leeming as anderson just has to have wood in his team at all costs

Thought Wood was a bit rusty which is understandable, but didn't seem to offer as much in attack as Connor. Saying that we don't have a better attacking left centre than connor either imo, I do prefer Wardle at second row.

Anderson seems to underplay Leeming, we won yesterday so can't complain, but a 20 minute cameo every game seems a bit of a waste for me.

Wood played well last night imo

Connor was excellent too I think so tough to see anyone go out of last night's team

Should be a good game this I think. Hopefully we'll both be in good form and we'll put on a good show. We might have Flower, O'Loughlin and Gelling back.

Any complacency Wigan might have had going into this game against the bottom club will have been cast aside after Friday.

I think they may look to put some aggressive contact on our young forwards who got bigged up.

Like Anderson says young players can be inconsistent,so it's up to the likes of Johnson and Mason to back up their efforts from last round.

I'd give Anderson a lot of credit and wouldn't complain in the slightest if he kept the same team. It would be good if two experienced players missed out due to form of our least experienced players.
We nilled top of the league. The prize is Wigan away in front of the Sky cameras. It'd sure give Crabtree and Larne a boost when they get another shot.

No doubt both will return though.

He is a steadying influence and Wigan will look to bully our pack

You look at that Wigan squad and apart from Bateman there are no big danger men.

Well I'm happy with that apart from Ormsby's inclusion he goes back to Wire in two weeks so unless we go back to the Hull back line why not include Sam Wood if only for the experience.

Let's not get blasé abut Wigans squad you have to beat what's on the field I know but this squad comfortably beat a Castleford side we lost to the week before.

If our attitude is not what it was on Friday we will lose, complacency is not something we can afford.

Bite me how? I'm not saying we are going to win- but at one time perhaps a 4/5 years ago you'd look at a Wigan squad compared to ours and think - blimey! Phelps, Tomkins, Loughlin, deacon, Richards, fielden, leuluai........ match winners all over the field. Nowadays you know they can still do a number on you but theres not the same awe of the names on the squad list.

Joel Tomkins to add to that listing,but got to be happy that there's no Manfredi,O'Loughlin,Farrell,McIlorum,Williams,S Tomkins.

Given he's stuck with the players who did well against wire I can't see him making a lot of switches- esp in the pivots. He shouldn't be making switches to fit in z loan signing- The Ormsby loan seems a bit pointless now!!!
I'd stick with exactly the same team unless taai is still struggling with the knee- in that case just put Dickinson in rather than make several switches. Personally I think what we need is consistency- esp now we've got a win!!!!

Quietly confident for this one IF we do the basics well in a similar style to Friday.
