Just out of interest, what would be a good crowd attendance and what would be bad?

Personally i think 8k+ would be decent.. I would be dissapointed with anything below 6k..

I know people say thursdays aren't the best, but if you want to watch then I believe most people can make the effort to get down. (obviously not everyone).

Great ticket offer as well... Still don't feel they are reaching potential fans though... But hopefully the Hudds public are going to take an interest after lifting the LLS..

Nearly 9k Giants fans at Wakey so would be nice for all of them to return plus 2k Wigan fans

8k + decent ? i think for a Thursday night match it will absolutely superb never mind decent.

Remember we have a lot of young families watch us and i can't see them being there at that time ......I'd say 5,500 and anything over 6,000 will be great.

If Wigan bring 2k (which is what they are apparently expecting) that means there will be 3,500 Giants fans at your 5,500 prediction... I think that would be extremely dissapointing.. I do agree about the family point though... it's too late for children as they will have school the next day

Don't forget that the game vs Wakey was on a Sunday night so many would have had school the next day and we got very close to 9k Giants fans

true it was a sunday night but 6 15 kick off not 8 oclock, personally owt above 6 will a good crowd, hope for 8 plus but will be suprised if so.

Good point about the kick off time. That would make quite a big difference. I actually think it won't be far off 8k..

Dont forget though, the Wakey game had a trophy at the end of it, lots of people would have come to see us lift that too, young families i mean, allowing the kids to stay up that bit longer......i would be delighted to see a big crowd on Thursday.

Don't worry I'm taking my 14 year old sister back over the Pennines after the game.

She doesn't normally go to the rugby but a fiver's a great price. I'd expect to get back at what, 11? She'll get about 8 hours sleep that's hardly irresponsible. Forcing a minor to be a Giants fan on the other hand....

I am taking my 10 month boy.. But for many people they will see it as too late I suppose.. Maybe I am wrong, If I am wrong then there is no excuse for a poor crowd

Dont think its a case of excuses, more valid reasons when you consider the time and day etc.

Around 6k i think. We have a hardcore of around 5000 but some wont come with the season tickets expiring, they will watch on sky plus thursday night is not a great night for a rugby match for other reasons.

the last home game was a great crowd, nearly 9k giants fans but it was well marketed and also it was for the LLS...great night

I think no matter what it should be a decent game! really looking forward to it, making the trip over with a couple of mates!

lets face it its the first play off game, its not a knockout tie,its a Thursday night on tv, that will put a lot off I would think.
also wigan v saints only got 12k last year IIRC and play off games have been poorly attended lately, not many clubs will get near their average gate, but we should,obviously helped by the generous ticket offers.

Would definitely be there but living in west London have no chance on a Thursday night! Was at Wakey game. Furious will scheduling again.

It will not harm the kids to have the odd late night.
I bet most don`t go to bed early anyway from people you listen to.

I'll be there as will my 2 kids who wouldn't miss it for the world, hopefully all those buggers that made a one off trip to see the trophy against Wakey will be pushing to get to the front again on Thursday!! They could then sign up got next year too ;-0)

i will be there too just managed to crawl enough at work today to get in early instead of my usual finish time of 9 and iwill be bringing my daughter, mind you she is 24.
