My main worry is who is going to help out at Hooker as I doubt Faiumu can do the full 80, then again you never know.

yes saw simpson help out at hooker in the reserves up at ymca when he had just come over here

dont think mcnally is good enough. neither does nathan brown obviously, grix and cudjoe ahead of him for full back anyway

such a shame for kyle wood - now would be the perfect time for him to show nathan he can cut it!

i would be tempted to keep Grix at fullback but this would mean Cudjoe or Simpson to Stand off and Brown to scrum half.

I think is is more likelt to have Hodgson (either David or Elliot at fullback) and Grix to scrum half.
As for hooker Simpson or Horne could do a stint there at a push but i would think Faiumu is likely to have to do 65/70 minutes on friday.

have you seen him play this year? could not force way into batley team and not setting world alight at dewsbury either, has been poor for u20's aswell when he was played for them, was giants worst player in the 9's compitition and that was saying something

If simpson plays, and not in normal position, let's hope he has a great game, and we support him whatever. I'll be annoyed and tell my mum if we see any anti- Simpson comments next week, considering the circumstances.

Simpson has played hooker for rabbitohs and done well, he a centre tho brown should play him there!! Lawrence did 33 tackles last week a centre shouldnt be doin that many, takes his attack away. Play him 2nd row

Lawrence comes inside for defence though, it's one of his strengths so it should be utilized, takes pressure off the halves who can and do move out wide. Perfectly sensible tactics.

It does smake sense to have Bruno doing the defending inside as he's a very good defender indeed.

I'm wary about tonight. Salford's last game at the Willows and a bit of a bogey side for us. They're sure to be fired up for this one and I'm not sure we will be. We tend to turn up to Salford waiting to win and have been caught out several times.
