congratulations on the twit who took the pic.

I have to say it looks alright on first viewing, although the Claret looks a bit PURPLE. I am sure this is a trick of the light.

I might be tempted to part with pennies to get that one.

The colours are okay. That was on full zoom on my iphone. There'll be some better pictures out later as they are on general sale now.

What are your impressions of it. It sems quite classy and tame compared to some of our recent shirts and some of the other kooga monstrosities out there.

My first impressions are very good.

I didn't see the swoosh on it at first picture.

The swoosh would be better in gold.

Is a swoosh good ever. The head honcho at Kooga seems to love them or is a big toga fan.

It looks like a babies been sick down the front.

Just goes to show first impressions are not always the best to rely on.

Message to the Giants remove the swoosh and you might sell more. I will be saving my pennies this season. Bloody typical get my hopes up and then to be dashed. Then again that is what life is like following the Giants

It would be passable without the swoosh. But bloody hell, is somebody at Kooga having a massive laugh at RL's expense this year or what? Or is the Kooga designer just a closet Salford fan, cos they've got the only decent design from them this year.

wot the hell is the swoosh all about last year we had a mouri tail this year only worse. this is shocking wont be buying this one. Giants your so much better than this sort kooga out their havvin a laugh. Lets av a competition to design a shirt for the away one, has to be better than kooga can come up with

i get the new shirt every year and judging by responce on here you will all know who Skelmanthorpe giant is,he's the one in the shirt. must admit the white streaks would look better in gold.
i would like to know who choose's the design at the club? i know Richard Thewlis comes on here maybe he may sign up and answer this for me.maybe next year when they change the shirt again if the are say 5 designs they could hand copy's out at a mid season home game and ask for our feedback and any changes we'd like to see.
mind you that would require a marketing dept and Richard Thewlis knows my thoughts on that dept or lack of one.

I don't think they'd mind anyone sending in some designs as I used to years ago. The last time I sent some designs in they chose one like the one below.

But I agree a selection of shirts for the fans to have a poll on would be good.

ATEOD I'm watching what is in the shirts not the shirts themselves. I'll be buying a shirt next year but I was always going to wait until I had seen both.

Last years blue shirt I didn't like but it grew on me very quickly.

Even if they did offer varios designs to the fans to choose their favourites they'd still be those who would still hate the preferred one. Remember Town offered out designs for their centenary shirt and still people didn't like the choice and strangely though their subsequent shirts have been the other two choices that weren't originally taken up!

For me this shirt didn't need the white on it at all! I'm not sure if I'll get it just yet!

I'll be sticking with last seasons fabulous away shirt.

No reson to swap based on what I've seen of the new one.

Although the new home is much better shirt than the dreadful Wigan one.

I've bought it, just because I always do.

The problem for me more than the tacky design is the quality of the shirt. Shocking. Right back to the grim outwear days. I said to the woman behind the till that it was a bit lacking quality wise and she said it was what the fans had asked for because the previous Kooga shirts have been too heavy! Too heavy, oh dear! Turn it in, surely this is a cost cutting exercise on behalf of the club and a sports manufacturer who I believe recently went in to liquidation only to be reformed with a new Kooga brand. I still handed over the cash, all 48 quid of it for what is effectively a w@*k blanket, well more of a cloth really.

On the topic of the reformed Kooga brand, howcome the shirt has the new Kooga on it and the jacket has the old one? Looks a bit bogus, basically could be two different brands.

There again life's too short!
