We don't really have a rival, so who do you consider to be our biggest rival?

I dont 'hate' anyone, although we have had many main rivals over the years - including Keighley in the early/mid 90's and traditionallly its been Halifax throughout history but i think nowadays it is probably more Leeds than anyone as we are now competing with them to be West Yorkshire's biggest club.

in terms of distance its halifax

but for me it has to be bradford

built up some good rivalry with warrington in recent seasons

and i know alot of fans dont like wakey

Big clubs get big crowds. Bradford were absolutely awful last year and yet we still averaged 1000 more fans through the gates! Giants are getting it together on the pitch but the town of Huddersfield seem to be slow in backing the club off the field even with cheap season tickets.

ive paid £180 last year and again this season... how does this compare with other clubs.. wouldnt say they are cheap as you put it

Hate is a strong word. But very appropriate when it come sto my feelings towards Bradford.

This is mainly down to their fans talking BULLS**T.

They are crap on the field so use the 'we get better crowds than you'

I am 29 and have been watching Fartown since I was 4. I have been to more or less every rugby ground in the country and sat in crowds of 400 watching the claret and gold. Over the years with improvements on the field the crowds have gradually grown and long may it continue.

We have never been the best supported club, but the few we have are true and loyal!

Odsal is a grave yard compared to what it was 5/6 years ago when they were winning things.

In a word - TOSSERS!

And thats why I hate them and love taking the mickey every time we beat them.

why would they be playing at the shay? or have i missed something here?

We're getting the pitch relaid at the start of next season, we're starting there.

Yeah Hudds will be playing a few games at The Shay next year while the pitch is being relayed.

Arrogant Leeds for me everytime, Rupert Bear must have been on holiday when we whupped their soryy asses at the Galpharm and then went to their spot and lost in the last seconds of the game.

Hopefully next year we do the double over them and put them firmly in their place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't meaning in number of trophies won in the summer era rivals i meant on and off the pitch we are probably closer to Leeds right now than any of the other SL clubs in West Yorkshire !!

hudersfield giants are certainly on their way upwards without doubt,but they will have to start winning trophies and on a regular basis and over successive season's to be deemed our closest rivals imo,the bulls will always be our main rivals.if we had to lose a game against either the bulls or the giants,most rhino's fans would rather lose to the giants but beat the bulls!

the fact that you are a side that has the ability to beat the rhino's hardly makes you out as competing with us at present,to be yorkshire's number 1 side
then there's also the challenge of displacing us as sl's greatest ever side!
