| What do you expect from this game? Hopefully it will be close and we(Wire) can start to gain a bit of momentum, I can see it being a low scoring affair with about 4-8 points in it.

I dont see any major attacking threats from Warrington this season and lets face it the win against Bradford wasn't hard! Bradford folded like a pack of cards and tries were scored from simply passing the ball from one wing to another. U10 stuff really! If Warrington were half decent they would have put 100 past them.
If we can start well and control the first 20mins of the game we will go on to win it. Griffin and Crabtree to come on then and dominate the forwards with Robinson and Brown taking on the tired Wire forwards!!! Tryfest me thinks! And lets face it we havent lost away from home since July 08 (IIRC) and will be pumped up following the dissapointment of the Leeds match.
Get ready for a Fartown backlash!!!

| Warrington's last team: Riley, Hicks, Bridge, King, Johnson, Briers, Monaghan, Morley, Clarke, Carvell, L. Anderson, Westwood, Harrison.
Replacements: Higham, V. Anderson, Wood, Cooper
Huddersfield's last team: B Hodgson, Cudjoe, Whaturia, Lawrence, D Hodgson, Brown, Robinson, Mason, Moore, Jackson, Wild, Kirmond, Finnigan.
Replacements: Crabtree, D Griffin, Lolesi, Faiumu.
With Aspi returning the only player from the Warrington team I would consider having at Huddersfield is Micky Higham!
The problem Wire have is consistancy. As I said last weeks win against Bradford wasn't a great performance as Bradford were very, very poor. Can they back it up with a win against Huddersfield? I dont think they will. If they do then people will look at the Bradford game as being a turning point in their season and they may kick on from there. Should they lose, which I think they will, then it looks a long season for Wire. The 5 weeks is crucial for them. Home games against Huddersfield, Hull KR and Wigan and two tough away fixtures against Hull FC and Cas. I dont see where they'll pick up points to be honest!

| No matter how much i like leroy i have to say if aspy is fit then he will play. we was very poor against leeds but warrington wasnt that good against a poor outfit from bradford. Bradford looked like they didn't care and huddersfield will need to bounce back afetr a poor performance and a poor result against leeds. Like PB giant said if we can boss the first 20 minutes then we will win the game because griffin and eorl to come on who has been fantastic all season. Danny kirmond seemed to play well for us aganist warrington last year so im hoping he doe same on sunday. Giants to win by a bit for me. prediction is 42-20 to giants

| Problem is Aspy picks up injuries far too easily so I'd stick with Leroy. It's no good if Leroy isn't playing first team and then is expected to step up when Hodgson gets injured.

I'd take Hicks every day of the week - who I would lose for him though is harder.

| as good as morley has been i dont think he is the player he was a few years back, Only seen Carvell a few times and been really impressed and the way he tears things up... but then our fowards have been on top form this season apart from saints and leeds. On his pre Uk form i would love to have King but he mustnt like the cold weather (in fairness having a winger outside him that cant catch a ball like penny last season must have been on his mind)
On their day most of Warrington team are class acts (at least they have been) but it just aint happening for some reason which is why i think/hope we should win by a couple of tries at least.

| I have to agree with the Wire poster there. You've got to give Wire some credit and I think we need to be careful about getting too big for our boots here.
Rugby League is about confidence and application as much as talent and skill and when you start thinking these sides are easy beats then these kind of posts come back to haunt you.
It's early days to be full of ourselves. The Leeds game showed us that.
We're a good side for sure but we're not good enough to go in half a4sed against anyone and expect an easy win. This is Huddersfield RLFC we're talking about here.

I actually quite like Huddersfield but some of the talk on here.. well if Wire win by a nice scoreline i'll certainly be giving you the ahahahaha's.

Oh dear, dear, dear.
Morley will play for England this autumn.
Crabtree or Griffin won't.
Briers is still our best halfback by some distance, the games we've lost recently against Cas/Salford he hasn't played, the other 4 we've won.
I personally think he's better than both Brown and Robinson although i'll be the first to admit his better days are past him.
Monaghan would walk into any NRL team, Robinson wouldnt

The point I was making was that the scoreline flattered Warrington. I wouldnt take too much out of that game if I was a Wire fan. Bradford were very poor

| we'll win - it will be a hard game - on paper Wire are still a heck of a team and although there win at Bradford wasnt really a true reflection of their form it will have given them and their fans huge confidence boost - our guys have to be 100% ready for this.

Since Griffin was dropped early on in season with internal issues he does not seem the same player. I was very impressed with him at the beginning of the season I just hope he regains he's form back asap.

| I think come sunday you'll realize that the bradford win was no fluke, considering they beat leeds the week before and only just lost away to an in-form wakefield. I think your getting a bit ahead of yourselves, considering you got a bit of a wake up call against leeds last week. Come the end of the season i think wire will be above you.
Personally i think it'll be a close game, hudds are a good team who tend to target the tiring forwards, however, i think we'll be too strong and with the confidence of our first away win since last year, will bring you your first away defeat since last year .
Hopefully sunday will explain this alot better than i have

| I think it will be close with Hudds as slight favourites, it's good that teams are on the rise and challenging the so called big boys, what's happening at your gaff has been building for years and now you have that top coach to take you too the next level. I'm hoping we beat you sunday if/when we do best luck for the rest of the season.
