Don't see us getting any change out of Cas to be honest, but then i didn't see anything for us against either Hull or Wigan, If Wakey beat Hull " which i expect them to do" that puts them beyond us anyway unless we can get something at Cas.

Catalan can expect at least 2 points, so same applies to them, then we are left with Leeds whose last two games look well winnable, so 9th is still a very real possibillity , but we have started fighting a bit now so it's not over yet, Was that HKR game that did us no good.

I expect you to beat us last game so as long as we beat Hull, that would make Leeds winning both their games irrelevant

I would be more than happy to beat you in the last game, If you beat Hull we would both be safe, I think you have a excellent chance to beat Hull, they are suffering very badly with injuries at the moment.

I said on the Leeds board last week you'd beat either Wigan or us and was shot down immediately. People don't like the concept but the recovery shown by yourselves and hull Kr has been great to see. Without the threat of relegation would we have seen it? KR should have beaten us 3 weeks ago at wheldon road, no reason you can't either. We still have a patched up side (not using it as an excuse) but with that comes inconsistencies (great 1 week, way off the next) I think it could be a belter on Friday and sky have picked a decent game.

Yes we are still missing our 2 1st choice half backs plus Meeks Minikin and Foster. But that Cas bench should be good enough to make the difference.

Think our own bench will look strong, I’m expecting it will look something like Hinchcliffe, roberts, English and taai.
2 current internationals, an ex origin player and ex academy international captain. Not too shabby!

Our middles have been playing well. We best Wigan with 3 props playing last week- so with taai back that’s a big boost.
My worry is our edges- regardless of his go forward Jerry isn’t the best defender and Mamo at full back is a bit like Eden at full back- could be a brilliant or terrible idea! Hopefully broughys kicking will work with the narrow pitch.

Super stuff. bar saints, best performance at Cas this year. Absolutely rolled us and the scoreline probably flattered us.

That was the best Huddersfield performance i have seen for at least a couple of years, so many good performances. I would like to especially mention Gaskell. I have been his biggest critic but today he was excellent, and showed what he can do with a bit of confidence in his own abilities. I was very surprised and didn't think he had it in him, i'm glad he proved me wrong. Now he needs to back it up with more. He and Rankin were superb and literally tore Cas to pieces at times.

Fair play to Hudds. Way better team. Outplayed us from the moment we go 12 up. No excuses from me. Better team won.

Completely agree Gaskil, Rankin and Macintosh have all moved on no end in the last few weeks, as have all the side to be fair, I also have been critical of Gaskil but fair play to him he is getting it together.

I don't know if i'm imagining it but there seems to be a spirit about the side that hasn't been there for a long time, It seems like the same sort of attitude that was about under Brown, and tonight the same brand of football was on show.
The last three performances have been excellent but tonight's was especially good for the style of play, the offloading and speed of passing was different class to what we have become used to, Special mention to the pack who dominated a very big and good Cas pack. What a way to secure S league for next year. Great show from the whole team.

Been away (in Norway) for a while so missed a few games, but glad I got to this one. Scrappy first half and it wouldn't have flattered the Tigers if they'd gone in 6 points up, but, once the Giants got their noses in front, there was only going to be one winner - second half defence was excellent.

There was only one thing tonight that made me proud to be a Cas fan. I watched it in a bar in an east coast holiday resort that always shows super league games so there is a good mixture of fans. There was one solitary hudds fan and his wife proudly wearing the shirt. At 12 nil down he was still cheering loudly for his team. At the end myself and at least another dozen \Cas fans went over and shook his hand and congratulated him on a great win. Don't know if he comes on here but well done mate.
