Seems to me that this lad is in a bit of a hole, the piece i read on him ,he said openly that he wanted to get back on track to earn a place back over there, That's all fair enough to me so you would think that any contract will be on the understanding that any serious problems could end it. Where you getting 170k from? What I’m saying is Hastings is good enough to play Nrl, unlike lot of Aussie halves over here like Miller, drinkwater etc

170k is the marquee amount for overseas players that counts on the cap. we know barba is getting over 170k as he’s classed as marquee.

Hastings would appear to have a clean record and the Manly incident shouldn’t make any difference but I would again see the logic in announcing after his Visa is approved if we do sign him.
